Culture vibes is a culture awareness project created by AIESEC GUC to help break all the cultural stereotypes, and the cultural barriersbetween people from different countries Interns will be introduced to the Egyptian culture through working in culture centers, engaging in their daily work schedule, helping them plan for cultural events, and working hand-in-hand with Egyptians. They will get to unleash Egypts hidden identity. They will also be introduced to different cultures through working with the other interns and getting to know them

Its a great opportunity to discover the Countrys traditions and culture in their actual form

05Job description

There are different job descriptions for each culture center based on its needs.

Interns will help the centers in organizing their cultural events, and publicizing them through their social media websites. They will also help in cultural events through showcasing their own cultures. Interns will be asked to PR during the events and take pictures.

Required skills: Events Management - Marketing - Public Relations - Art - Culture Management - Teaching - Journalism - Photography - Graphic Design

Note: Not all skills are required per intern, but they will help with the allocation of interns in Culture Centers.

08Exchange Program Flow Interns are required to arrive on the mentioned start date to be able to attend the orientation session.

During the session, the interns will get allocated into the culture centers and receive their work schedule.

The Culture Vibes Team will join the interns during their first work day.

The Culture Vibes Team will take the interns to weekly cultural events.

Trips around Egypt will be organized by AIESECers for the weekends.

Interns will get to be in Egypt during the Holy Month of Ramadan; which is the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar. It also happens to be the month whose spirit of love and hospitality is spread all around Egypt. Luckily, Culture Vibes interns from both waves will get to spend 2 weeks of Ramadan in Egypt, and experiance part of the exquisite and remarkable month.

AIESECers will also provide the interns with free Arabic language sessions.

Optional Egyptian cooking classes at an extra cost for interested interns.

AIESEC GUC AIESEC GUC started after a lot of effort and dedication and was sustained through remarkable young leaders who wanted to carry on the self-driven experience AIESEC has provided them with to students in the GUC. With its first welcome day for the first members recruited on campus on the 26th of December 2009, AIESEC GUC became an official expansion promising to change the lives of the 40 faces that reflected great potential. A year in, more than 100 members have experienced the amazing culture and work/fun environment AIESEC GUC provides for its members. A large number of students so far have been assigned to astounding leadership roles, and gone on life-altering marvelous international internships (Exchange Programs) that AIESEC GUC provides.
