Cup final VIP tickets offered for charity ‘auction’

A lifelong Bradford City fan has organised the donation of three pairs of the best tickets available at

Wembley for Sunday’s sell-out Capital One cup final between Bradford City and Swansea to a Yorkshire

charity.

Steve Jordan, who is a partner with BTG Asset Consulting in Leeds, secured the donation from Begbies

Traynor Group, and all the proceeds from the sale of the VIP ‘Silver Club’ Wembley tickets will go to the

Bradford Burns Unit. The former auctioneer is inviting sealed bids for each pair of tickets by email

before the deadline of 6pm on Wednesday 20 February with the tickets going to the three highest

bidders.

“It is going to be an amazing occasion and a lot of fans, including me, want to remember the 56

supporters who perished in the terrible Valley Parade fire 28 years ago. This is a great opportunity to

benefit the burns unit that was set up after the fire to help victims of serious burns,” said Steve Jordan.

“My colleagues at Begbies Traynor were more than happy to donate the tickets to such a worthwhile

cause. These are tickets for great seats on the second tier at Wembley, and they cost over £100 each.

“The pairs of tickets will go to the highest bidders to email me at [email protected]

by 6pm on Wednesday, and every penny will go directly to the charity,” he said.
