In the morning the man with the yellow hatdropped off Curious George in Mrs. Braun’sclassroom. In Mrs. Braun’s classroom Curious

George found some books about himself. CuriousGeorge was curious. He checked out the stuffedanimals. He saw himself. He was confused! Hestarted to look at one of the books. He saw thathe was in the book. He was confused. Then he

was curious! He had an idea. He was going tolook around the school. He told himself toremember to be a good little monkey! But it iseasy for little monkeys to forget!

Curious George swung to the girl’s bathroom.

He was curious how the toilet paper worked. Heunrolled the toilet paper. Then he got tangled inthe toilet paper. Then a second grade girl saidyou’re not supposed to be in here. You’re a boy.You are supposed to be in the boy’s bathroom.

He swung to the girl’s bathroom door. He closedthe door. Then he swung to the boy’s bathroomdoor and went in.

Curious George snuck in Mrs. Pohl’s room.

Curious George smelled chocolate. He wascurious. He walked around Mrs. Pohl’s roomuntil he found the chocolate. He found thechocolate on Mrs. Pohl’s desk. CuriousGeorge started to eat Mrs. Pohl’s chocolate.

Mrs. Pohl said, “Do not eat the chocolate!”

Curious George says, “I will not eat yourchocolate.”

Mrs. Pohl put her chocolate back in her closet.Then George hopped out of Mrs. Pohl’s room.

Curious George rolled down to the fourth graderoom. George saw a turtle. He was curiousabout what they were. George climbed up theturtle tank. George almost fell in the turtle tank.George got down. He was curious about what

they eat. He looked around the classroom to



see what they eat. He fed them an eraser.Then he knocked over the turtle tank. Georgetried to put the turtles back. But before he could

put them back Mrs. Belt came in the room andsaid, “Curious George this is no place for amonke !” Curious Geor e said, “It’s eas for




After Curious George was in the fourth graderoom with the turtles Curious George jumped toMrs. Eifert’s office. Curious George climbed upMrs. Eifert’s desk and made a mess with thepencils, pens and papers. Then Mrs. Eifert said,“Can you please not make a mess with thepapers?” Curious George cleaned up the bigmess with the pencils, pens and papers.Curious George somersaulted out of Mrs.Eifert’s office. He went to Mrs Devine’s loft torelax and read a book about himself.

Curious George hopped to Mrs. Devine’s loft.He read four books. He looked to see how highhe was. He swung down and he went to playwith the legos. He was curious. He was curiousabout the other stuff. He went to see what the

other stuff was. He found a doll house. Hewent to play with the doll house. He couldn’t fitin the doll house. Mrs. Devine came in andsaid, “Hi! Get out ot the preschool room!”George went out.

After Curious George was in Mrs. Devine’s roomCurious George ran into Mrs. Torres room tosee the fish. Curious George was curious aboutthe fish because he didn’t know why they wereswimming. So he tried to feed the fish but Mrs.Torres said don’t feed them too much. Mrs.Torres opened the fish tank so Curious Georgecould see what the fish were doing. CuriousGeorge learned how the fish swim. ThenCurious George went to the library to read abook about fish.

So Curious George hopped up the stairs to thelibrary. Curious George was swinging around inthe library. Then Curious George flew into thebook cart. Curious George was curious. He didn’tknow where he was. Then Mrs. Mitchell put thebooks on the shelf. Mrs. Mitchell thought CuriousGeorge was a book. Then George was stuck onthe bookshelf. That night Mrs. Mitchell came tocheck on the books. Mrs. Mitchell put her keys onthe desk. Curious George got the keys on Mrs.Mitchell’s desk. Curious George was curious. He



didn’t know what to do with them. Then Mrs.Mitchell heard a sound. She looked around thelibrary. Then she found Curious George! Sheyelled, “Those keys are mine.” Curious Georgesaid, “I’m sorry. It is easy for little monkeys to

forget.” The door was open so he ran out thedoor. Then Mrs. Mitchell shouted to George thankyou for getting out of the library!

Curious George jumped to the middle schoolhallway and he saw a lot of notebooks. CuriousGeorge was curious. Curious George openedthe notebooks and everything fell out. Thenthere was a mess. George closed thenotebooks. When Curious George made a messthe 8th graders were mad at Curious George.Then the 8th graders went away. CuriousGeorge didn’t recognize that he did somethingwrong. “Those notebooks are for the 8thgraders”, Mr. T said. “I’m sorry. George snuck in Mrs. Braun’s room. He wenton to her desk. He found the keys on the desk.He unlocked the closet. He found Mrs. Braun’spurse. He digged in the purse. He found thephone. He was curious about the phone.

George turned the phone on. Then he calledthe man with the yellow hat. George said,“Come pick me up because I am tired!”
