Cisco Unified Communications Manager Device PackageCompatibility Matrix - Current

Use this section to obtain the latest Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) device packsavailable for:

• Unified CM 12.0(1)




A device pack introduces new phone types to Unified CM, and it installs the firmware and the configurationfiles needed to enable features on your Cisco device. New features may be turned off by default and they haveattributes or settings that must be configured.

Device packages are available from the Cisco Unified Communications Manager software download page.To obtain a device package, click the Unified CM device pack link in the table and a new browser windowor tab opens. You will need your Cisco sign-in.

Apply a device package to all of your Cisco Unified Communications Manager servers, beginning with thepublisher server and the TFTP server.

When you apply a device package to enable new device support, a cluster-wide reboot is not required forCisco Unified Communications Manager version 11.5(1) or later. Instead, after you add the device pack, dothe following in Cisco Unified Communications Manager:

• Restart the Cisco Tomcat service on all nodes.

• Restart Cisco TFTP on all servers where this service is running.

• Restart Cisco CallManager on the Publisher. If you’re not running the Cisco CallManager service on thePublisher, you can skip this step.

If you are using Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 11.0(1) or earlier, a cluster-wide reboot isrequired. A cluster-wide reboot is not required when you apply a device package to update existing firmwareor configuration.
