The award recipient will receive a certificate plus a cash award. The amount varies each year depending upon available funds. The anticipated award amount is $500. Rank: Masters Doctoral Ed. Specialist C RITERIA : Full time student in a graduate degree program at The University of Toledo. Previous recipients of this award are not eligible. Transcripts from all institutions attended are required. The College of Graduate Studies will obtain transcripts previously provided upon admission to the current graduate degree program at UT. Essay of no more than two double-spaced pages detailing why you should receive the award. Your graduate advisor must write a letter of recommendation assessing your academic accomplishments. One additional letter of recommendation assessing your academic progress. Provide a resume and/or other pertinent information such as employment experiences, extracurricular and community service activities. Please attach this application form to your essay and other supporting materials and return to the College of Graduate Studies, UH 3190 (Attention Fellowships/Scholarships Committee) office no later than February 13, 2015. All applicants will be notified of decisions. IMPORTANT NOTE ON FINANCIAL AID: Acceptance of this award could affect other financial aid or student loans. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact the Office of Financial Aid to inquire about the potential impact of this award on other financial aid or student loans.
