Business Objects is a powerful database query tool that provides a wide range of query, analysis, and reporting capabilities. Business Objects collects and presents information, while providing scheduling and distribution capabilities. These features make it easier to share secure information with authorized users.

Business Objects is a powerful database query tool that allows you to interact with the data to answer questions regarding fraud, waste, and abuse. It has a wide range of query and reporting capabilities.

Depending upon the security role, Business Objects will allow you to see claims information related to Medicare Parts A and B (including Home Health and DME) across the entire United States and its territories and/or Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Event) data. You also have access to information relating to beneficiaries and providers. Having this type of data access will allow you to conduct investigations more efficiently since you can directly look at the raw data.

You do not have to be a technical expert to use Business Objects; many of the reports you will use are already standardized and available for use on the system. Run these standard reports to show provider detail claim information or summary paid information over a specific period.

You can also create reports using preformatted report templates, or create the report from scratch in order to
