Sets the default department(s) and/or division(s) responsible for this course. This screen defaults the department for the course subject, as entered on the Subject Validation Maintenance screen (CS2001UG)
Curriculum Co-Requisite Maint.
Registration edit 000017 looks only at co-requisites setup on the term course side. It does not currently look at curriculum records so entry here is primarily for catalog purposes.
General Educ. & Grading Method Maintenance
You can choose from what you set-up on CS2012UG. This affects the general education ordered transcript
Multiple methods are okay but just one can be primary
Course Special Fees
Rate Type: Enter “F” to charge a flat fee amount - or - “C” to charge fee amount per credit (course must be credit-based).
Min/Max Credit: If Rate Type (above) = “C”, then enter the range of credits to which this fee should be applied.
Course Registration Restrictions
The Curriculum Registration Restrictions Maint screen (CS1017UG) is used to set registration restrictions that apply to all sections of the course. These will roll forward to the Term Course Registration Restrictions Maint screen (CS1117UG). Related edits must be active for restrictions to apply.
Curriculum Printable Messages
The Curriculum Printable Messages Maintenance screen (CS1019UG) lets you attach the messages you created in the Course Printable Message Validation Maintenance screen (CS2020UG) to courses; TBA, special permission required, lab needed, etc…
‘Y’ causes message to print in the master schedule and on student class schedule
Curriculum Pre-Requisites
This screen displays the courses that a student must take before being able to register for a particular course. All courses listed together in the same group are required prior to enrollment. If a student is required to take at least one course out of a possible three, the courses should be listed in separate groups.
Same group indicates AND, different groups indicate OR
Edit Override Set-Up
The Registration Edit Override Setup screen allows the registrar to select the course-related edit codes that can be overridden by various employees for which date ranges. This copies to the term record when it is created using the
Copy from Curric button.
Deleting Curriculum Records
The Curriculum Delete Process screen (CS1006UG) is used to permanently delete curriculum records when errors have been made.
Term Course Maintenance
Use the Maintain Term Course Records screen (CS1101UG) to schedule sections of valid curriculum courses. Copy the curriculum information into this screen using the Copy Curric Rec button. Once copied data can be modified as needed.

Session types 40--90 may be used with Registration Edit 000054 to set additional add/drop dates for registration
If the course is fewer than 21 days, a Short Term Obligation Date may be entered. This overrides Date Type 0033.
