skills to shape the students as future Leaders of the

Profession.

About the Faculty Development Program

The paradox of legal education is rapidly changing in the

changing scenario of the world. The concept of jural

relation has been changed over the period of time. State

sovereignty claims it indispensible to control

exaggeration of civil liberty for the sake of healthy

national life. On the other hand, the outbreak of

COVID-19 pandemic changes the modus operandi of

the education system in the entire world. This

unprecedented situation has out way the conventional

system of education. A brainstorming intellectual

discourse to adopt a holistic approach of legal education

to better suit the emergent situation is the demand of the

hour.

Therefore, the N. J. Y. Centre for Post-Graduate Legal

Research Tripura has taken a timely step to organize a

Faculty Development Program in the issue of Changing

Dimension of Legal Education in 21st Century. The

object of the Faculty Development Program is to arm the

faculty members of the Legal Education Departments of

the institutions across the glove with evolving tools to

adapt the pace of change. The Faculty Development

Program will be adorned by well known legal luminaries

across the world to address the issue of great significance.

Who can participate?

The Present FDP is designed for the Law teachers and

legal professional working in various academic and

research based educational Institution

Session Plan

Two sessions per day,(11:00-12:30 p.m.); & (2:00-3:30)

p.m.

Certicate of Participation

E-Certificate of Participation shall be issued within

fortnight in name of those who register, participate and

successfully complete all the FDP sessions.

About the ICFAI University Tripura

The ICFAI University Tripura, (here in after referred

as the University) was established in 2004 through an

Act of the state legislature (Tripura Act 8 of 2004).

The University has been approved by the University

Grant Commission under section 2(f) of the UGC

Act 1956. The ICFAI University, Tripura is a

About N.J.Y Centre for Post Graduate Legal Research, ICFAI Law School

The ICFAI University Tripura with its motto

“Meritum Ethicus” strives to develop a new cadre of

professionals with high a level of competence and

deep sense of moral principles and commitment to

the code of professional conduct. The University

believes in creating and disseminating knowledge in

core and frontier areas through innovative

educational programs, research, consulting and

publishing, and developing a new cadre of citizens

with a high level of competence and a deep sense of

ethics and commitment to the code of professional

conduct.

The N. J. Y Centre for Post-Graduate Legal

Research, ICFAI University Tripura is a wing of the

ICFAI Law School itself, and it deals specifically with

the LL.M and Ph.D. program and is devoted in

encouraging and engaging in Legal Research.

The ICFAI Law School offers five year Full-Time

integrated BBA-LL.B (Hons.), BA-LL.B (Hons.) and

Three Year LL.B programs with high Academic

Standards comparable with those of leading National

and International Law Schools in terms of

Guidelines · Registration shall be completed on receipt of

acknowledgement mail from part of the convener

of FDP.

· Request for late registration shall not be

entertained.

· Participants shall attend all the sessions of the FDP

for successful completion of the program.

· The Convener shall send feedback form in

convenient format, time and hour; and the

participants are to send their responses mandatorily as

a part of FDP. (Participants shall not call for feedback

form during the session)
