PROFESSOR JOSEPH ITAH OMADA 1 CURRICULUM VITAE OF PROFESSOR JOSEPH ITAH OMADA Professor Joseph Itah Omada is a professional geologist with wide exposures in the training and education at the tertiary levels. He worked with the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1985 to 2006) before transferring his services to Kogi State University, Anyigba where he is currently working. Between January, 1998 and March, 2006 he was seconded from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria to Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja to serve as Rector of the Polytechnic where he left indelible marks of a good leader. At the Kogi State University, Professor Omada has served as Head of Department of Earth Sciences, Deputy Dean of Post Graduate School, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and represented the Senate and Congregation on the Governing Council and several committees of the Management and Council. Professor Omada’s performance at the post in each of these positions was outstanding, commendable and exemplary. Professor Omada has had other national and international engagements. His wealth of experience and pedigree distinguishes him as an astute administrator and academic who stands for honesty, integrity and hard work.

CURRICULUM VITAE OF PROFESSOR JOSEPH ITAH OMADA Professor Joseph Itah Omada is a professional geologist with wide exposures in the training and education at the tertiary levels.
