Muhammad Al Rizqi Dharma Fauzi was born in Pangkalan Bun, Central Borneo, at 1st August 1994. Pangkalan Bun itself is an exquisite yet peaceful little city with humble people. His major in academic world is Chemistry. Since high school, he loved to read compositions in foods and drinks because he is so curious to know more about its chemistry deeply. Internship in Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) Gresik, East Java (2015). A person who has finished his/her internship in PT. Pertamina (Persero), Indonesia, a government company that develops oil and gas production in Indonesia, deserves to get the certification.

Special Training of International Chemistry Olympiad (2011 and 2012). This is a training for Indonesian students who win any medal in the National Chemistry Olympiad of Indonesia. This training’s purpose is to prepare the delegates for International Chemistry Olympiad.

Student’s Organization in Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 35 Surabaya (2007) as daily administrator’s staff. It was Al’s first organization in his life. As staff, he worked hard to improve his social skill.

Chemistry Student Association in Universitas Airlangga (2013 – 2014) as staff of education and reasoning division. Entering void space of social life in senior high school to focus on his Olympiad career, Al started his new organization management in university as a hard-work staff. He gave ideas to create a better local chemistry competition in this division. He also participated in some events which were related to education.

Student Choir of Universitas Airlangga (2014 – 2015) as staff of voice coordination division. Choir has been Al’s new world since he studied at university. He joined Airlangga University Choir and actively participated in it as both bass singer and staff there. He tried hard to master the basic knowledge in vocal technique and he could achieve two international achievements in 2015.

Representation Council of Chemistry Student in Universitas Airlangga (2015) as the leader. This small council facilitates students in department of chemistry Universitas Airlangga. Al gained trust from his friends to represent them in this council. Slowly but surely, Al was selected as the leader of this council.

Association of PIMNAS (National Scientific Week) Alumni of Universitas Airlangga (2013 – Present) as member. PIMNAS is a prestigious event of innovations for students in Indonesia. To be delegated for PIMNAS, a student must pass several selection processes including 3-4 monitoring evaluations and so on. Al achieved a grade as the gold medalist of PIMNAS in 2013 and became the alumni of association of PIMNAS since then.

Alumni of DSC East Java Region (2015 – present) as member. Diplomat Success Challenge (DSC) is a national competition for Entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Held by Wismilak Diplomat, branch of PT. Gelora Djaja, and broadcasted on TVOne, a national TV station in Indonesia.

Private Teacher (2011 – 2016) Al has been a private teacher, teaching chemistry, since he achieved the bronze medallion in National Chemistry Olympiad in 2011. To expand his knowledge, he decided to become a private teacher.

Teacher in One Solution Course (2011 – 2012). Al was offered to teach in One Solution Course, a special course for preparation of NTU admission, as a chemistry teacher.

Teacher and Academic Staff in Lembaga Bimbingan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan LINOC (2012 – 2014). Al was recruited by his former teacher in SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya as both teacher and academic staff in LINOC, a special course to prepare students for olympiads. Al was trusted to teach and maintain the academic system in this course for three years in his young age because they believed that Al had a good capability to manage LINOC.

Entrepreneur (2013 – 2015) in UD. Tundrea. UD Tundrea is a small company that sells simple detector of Borax. Borax itself has been a serious problem in Indonesia for many years ago. Al got an idea to implement his knowledge in chemistry so he built UD Tundrea and produced his products.

Entrepreneur (2016 – Present) in Eagles Group Synergy WorldWide Synergy WorldWide is a big network company that focuses on health and skin care. Al chose this company because it was related to his field.

National Chemistry Competition in Universitas Airlangga (2015) as the leader of Olympiad Team Division. Kompetisi Kimia Nasional (National Chemistry Competition) is an annual competition held by Department of Chemistry Universitas Airlangga to select most outstanding high school student in Indonesia. Al as an alumni of national Olympiad was trusted to manage the contents of competition itself in order to facilitate, compete and select the winner of this competition. There were evaluations from the participants that Al’s team had created the most difficult problems to solve in this competition compare to the previous ones

Orientation of Choir Organization in Universitas Airlangga (2015) as staff of Mentoring Team. Orientation is a must for new members in order to have a wider knowledge of activities, visions and missions in an organization. Al was trusted as a mentor for new members to help them in mastering basic knowledge of choir.

ASEAN University Network Quality Assessment of Department of Chemistry, Universitas Airlangga (2015) as staff of Student Delegation Team. Because of Al’s achievements, the Department of Chemistry trusted Al as staff of student delegation team in the first international assessment of this department. Al’s participation contributed in successfully gaining the international accreditation for the first time.

Primary Committee of Prague-Budapest Team of Libel’s Voice Youth Choir of Surabaya in Prague, Republic of Czech and Budapest, Republic of Hungary (2015) as a member of Supporting Mentors. As both alumni of SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya and its member of choir, Al was trusted to participate as the committee member to help the administration and to master songs for the other bass singers.

Orientation of Mahasiswa Berprestasi in Universitas Airlangga (2014) as presenter. Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Outstanding Student) is a prestigious national competition held by the Ministry of Research and Technology of Indonesia to compete all students in Indonesia to achieve the position as the Most Outstanding Student in Indonesia. All universities have to attend the elimination process in faculty, university and regional levels to be included in national competition. Al achieved the first place in his faculty and second place in university. From that background, Al was offered to be the presenter for addressing what Outstanding Student is.

Airlangga Juara Team of Universitas Airlangga (2014) as member. To appreciate students in Universitas Airlangga who have gained lots of achievements, the university built a special community called Airlangga Juara.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF CHOIRS

In 2015, Al was involved in a team of choir to join international

competitions of choirs in the Czech Republic and the Republic of

Hungary. These competitions were the first international competitions

of Libels Voice Youth Choir. Although it were the first ones, Al’s

team proved that they deserved achievements !


Simple Detector of Borax from Turmeric Extraction: Investigation of Foods Containing Borax in Surabaya on 5th International Conference and Workshop on Basic and Applied Sciences in Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia (16 – 17th October 2015). This paper presents the effects of borax in daily foods in Indonesia and how to prevent and manage them so that people are able to keep their family safe and sound from the danger of borax. This paper also presents a simple detector from turmeric extract which can be used as a specific detector for borax.

A Simple Detector of Borax, A Big Step to Reduce the Poverty Rate in Indonesia on 3rd Asia Pacific Student Forum in Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia (17 – 20th September 2015) This paper presents the effects of borax in daily foods in Indonesia and how to prevent and manage them so that the people can keep their family from the dangerous of borax. There are significant differences between this paper and the previous one. This paper concentrates on how we face the economic situation in Indonesia and how this simple detector contributes to reduce the poverty rate in Indonesia.

Application of Graphene Quantum Dots as a Sensor of Cancers: A Review (Proceeding at the 1st International Conference on Science and Science Education) on August 1st, 2015 in Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia This paper presents the general review of applications of quantum dots as a biosensor of cancers.

Borjaise: Boraks Jauh, Ibu Senang (National Scientific Week) on September 2013 in Universitas Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. In this event, Al and partners made a business plan related to the simple detector of Borax in order to open new opportunities of work. By creating an innovative paper and presentation, the government gave Al’s team the gold medallion in order to appreciate their work and contribution for Indonesia.

ADCOR © Muscle Damage Rapid Detection Test Based on Skeletal Troponin I Immunochromatography Reaction on 17th International Conference on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering in Singapore (10 – 11th September 2015). ADCOR helps people in rapidly testing their muscle health, especially for athletes. Muscle health is important for a person’s movement. A disordered muscle will be a serious problem if we ignore this sign, for example: acute cram. Based on immunochromatography reaction, ADCOR will specifically detect the quality of our skeletal muscles.

Dose Determination of Tenebrio molitor Extract as an Anti-Diabetic Agent on 18th International Conference on Medical Science, Technology, and Engineering in Rome, Italy (2 – 3rd May 2016). Diabetes has been serious a problem of health in this era. Our daily life makes it hard for us to keep maintaining healthy life. That’s why rare diseases to young people in the past are now the common ones. Anti-diabetic agents have been developed since years ago. However, herbal agent from plants or animals are needed in order to control our health not only from diabetes but also other dangerous synthetic chemicals.

Ss Alginate-Carrageenan Copolymer with the Addition of Plasticizer (Sorbitol) as a Drug Delivery Carrier Material on International Conference Collaboration Seminar of Chemistry and Industry, Indonesia (5-6th October 2016).

Gelatin as the most popular source of hard capsules is creating some problems especially for vegetarians and moslems. A vegetative capsule made of alginate-carrageenan copolymer was developed by Al under supervision by his lecturers in order to solve this problem.

Gold Medalist in National Science and Mathematics Olympiad (2015). This Olympiad (ON MIPA-PT) is a very prestigious national competition held by Ministry of Research and Technology of Indonesia annually. From more than 2000 participants, only 25 winners will be selected as the champions.

Gold Diploma in Young Prague 2015: Choir and Orchestra Festival, Prague, Republic of Czech. This annual international competition is held in Prague to share the harmony of songs and music from each participants. 42 members of the team where Al was joined competed in this competition and finally achieved the gold diploma. Al’s team was the only participant from Asia.

Gold Medalist in National Scientific Week (2013). PIMNAS is a tremendous event of innovation for students in Indonesia. To be the delegates of PIMNAS, a student must pass several selections including 3-4 monitoring evaluations. Al’s team was awarded with the gold medalist.

Silver Medalist in National Science and Mathematics Olympiad (2013 and 2014). Because of its popularity, Al participated three times in this Olympiad and he won 1 gold and 2 silver medals.

Silver Diploma in 15th Budapest International Choir Festival and Competition (2015). Budapest International Choir Festival and Competition is a mile stone in the history of choral competitions. Al’s team was awarded with the silver diploma.

Bronze Medalist in National Science Olympiad for High School (2011). This Olympiad is a prestigious competition held by Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia for senior high school students. This is the first Olympiad where Al achieved his medallion. Eliminating about 2000 competitors nationally, Al was awarded with Bronze Medalist, after passing through many dramatically stories.

First Place in Mahasiswa Berpretasi of Faculty of Science and Technology (2014 and 2015). Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Outstanding Student) is a prestigious national competition held by the Ministry of Research and Technology of Indonesia to compete students in Indonesia to achieve the position as the Most Outstanding Student in Indonesia. All universities have to pass through the elimination process in faculty, university and regional to participate in national competition. Al achieved the first place in his faculty and second place in the university.

First Place in National Science and Engineering Olympiad (2013). Education and Sport Government of Jogjakarta creates this event annually to compete all students nationally. Al was requested by Universitas Airlangga as their delegate and he exquisitely achieved a great achievement in this competition.

Second Place in National Chemistry Competition in Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November Surabaya (2012). Instititut Teknologi Sepuluh November Surabaya is one of well-known university in Indonesia. They held this competition annually for senior high school students. The competitiveness is as hard as other national competitions. From more than 1000 competitors, Al’s team achieved the second place.
