It is important that you have a foot wear option that is closed toe (not crocs or sandals) to protect yourself.

The Reality TourThe first stop in our tour is Colta, an old town is where you find the Church of Balbanera, the first Catholic church constructed on Ecuadorian soil, founded in 1534. Next, we will go to Guamote, a town full of ranches, or “Huasipungos,” where communities members used to work as slaves until their rebellion. After that, we will visit the village of Guamote and its famous agricultural and livestock fairs.

Finally, we will head to Cebadas, the first town that MEDLIFE worked in, where you will have the opportunity meet local families and see how they live. You’ll learn about their needs and what MEDLIFE can do to help.
