Chapter 7 The Silk Road and the Great Game

Within this chapter the provinces of Asia is under great review making it the main topic

This chapter talks about the power struggle for the oil within the country

Throughout this time period many people wanted to find new ways to obtain gas and oil resources

Chapter 8 The Russia That Was

The west heavily relied on Russia to have accessed the lands within Eurasia.

Many illegal Chinese immigrants began to enter Russia to inhabit the lands of the depopulated far east

As a result of the Chinese migrating into Russia, the Chinese began to gain control of the country because they had many functioning mining firms

Chapter 9 Tibet and Xinjiang

With Tibet and Xinjiang in China’s possession, China was able to sky rocket it’s westward reach

Xinjiang has the country’s largest oil, gas, uranium, coal and gold

deposits

Although having both puts China at an advantage, Xinjiang is considered to be more profitable than Tibet due to it’s size and population

Chapter 10Kazakhstan “Happiness is Multiple Pipelines

•Kazakhstan is normally not a place where people actually go, but over time it became a place where trade routes were made

•It also became an area of great flow of oil and gas pipelines
