PATIENT WEDGESThe MacMed Patient Wedge is a body positioning device effectivein helping to redistribute pressure for ‘at-risk’ patients. ThePatient Wedge can also aid in the management and healing ofexisting pressure ulcers, by allowing patients to be positioned ontheir side to reduce sacral pressure. BRAUN BLOCKThe MacMed Braun Block provides optimal support and comfort forthe leg and positions the ankle and foot appropriately. Made from a combination of high density viscoelastic and hospital grade foams,the cover is a waterproof two way stretch, vapour permeable fabricwith welded seams and a non slip base.Product No.: 70216

CHARNLEY BLOCKThe MacMed Charnley Block prevents hip abduction that can resultin dislocation following hip anthroplasty. The specially shaped device maintains knee separation comfortably while a hook and loop strap maintains the correct position between the legs.Product No.: 70215

COCCYX COMFORT CUSHIONThe MacMed Coccyx Comfort Cushion has a unique ‘key-hole’ shapedzone and wide padded area to provide optimum pressure relief andsupport for the sacrum to the perineum area, and pressure redistributionacross the whole seated area. Ideal for patients having undergoneperineum surgery and for those with catheters or other drains, theMacMed cushion allows for seating comfort and unobstructed flowthrough tubing.

Also indicated for midwifery. The coccyx comfort cushion provides comfort and support for the breast feeding mother after perineum tears sustained during giving birth.

POMMEL CUSHIONThe MacMed Pommel Cushion assists with hip abduction and provides enhanced cushioning and pressure redistribution. The pommel combined with tilt configuration decreases forward sliding andmaintains an even distribution of weight.

SACRAL CUSHIONThe MacMed Sacral Cushion has a specific cut out design that providesrelief and an area of zero gravity for the perineum area. The modestfront to back slope, also encourages anterior pelvic tilt. Sacral area suspended in air - Pressure free zone.
