Position Description

As a Customer Care Assistant, think of yourself as the face of your restaurant. In a nutshell, you'll deal with customers and make sure everything runs as it should in the customer areas. Activities include making children feel welcome, handing out balloons, looking after customers' specific needs, keeping high standards of cleanliness in the dining area and toilets and helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's your responsibility to establish and maintain positive communication with customers at all times and to keep the manager informed about customer satisfaction.

You may also take part in the planning and implementation of children's parties, coffee mornings, children's competitions and other special events organised by your restaurant.

Fox Valley Security & Customer Service Team Member

Job Description

An integral role, reporting to the Tenants Liaison and Events Manager - you will ensure that day to day security operations are carried out whilst maintaining a safe and secure environment for all visitors, staff and tenants on site.Responding promptly and dealing with health and safety matters, emergency procedures, first aid and incident management is also a key part of the role.Creating a rapport with tenants and liaising with them on a daily business and reporting matters arising to the Centre Management Team.

Customer Service

All members of Fox Valley staff are asked to deliver customer service roles. Security will meet and greet customers and act as an ambassador and be able to demonstrate good local knowledge whilst delivering extremely high levels of service. The security role will need to assist with directing shoppers to available parking spaces, assisting with umbrellas in wet weather and helping with shopping bags, ensuring we deliver a unique shopping experience at all times.

Working alongside the centre cleaning team you will remain vigilant at all times and report matters of suspicion to the Centre Management Team.

All staff at Fox Valley are a direct representation of the business, therefore presentation during working hours and wearing the uniform should be of a high standard, as well as acting in an appropriate manner.

Assisting with centre events and key promotions is another key task whilst carrying out any other duties requested by the Centre Management Team.

A current SIA badge is mandatory for this security role and upon appointment of the role, an up to date DBS will need to be carried out.

General

The Safe Places scheme is a network of businesses and organisations that will assist anybody who goes to them for help.

The scheme provides adults, particularly people with learning disabilities, mental health issues and dementia, with assistance and a safe space to be if they are feeling scared, upset or bullied if out on their own. The scheme provides reassurance to people and to their families and careers, that there is a means of support for them in the community. The support helps to minimise or remove the risks and a means to report crimes with or on behalf of the adult if necessary.

They can also help by providing support to deal with health emergencies.
