With Oemeta, you have at your side an owner-managed company based in Uetersen, near Hamburg. Innovating ideas

Precision grinding

Whether it’s optical lenses or ceramic hobs, residue-free

grinding is essential for glass processing. High-perfor-

mance cleaning to remove micro-debris is also required.

Our oil-free cooling lubricants are the perfect choice for

this. They leave no trace on the glass – and your product

can be coated without a hitch.

On the right track for the future

Innovative high-quality products that meet international

legal standards are developed in our modern laboratories.

Day after day, we work on developing new products and

optimise and test our existing cooling lubricants.

The venues for our research and quality control are three

modern chemical laboratories and a technical develop-

ment centre.

Research laboratory

This is the place where Oemeta researches and develops new products. Under top-secret conditions, of course. It was

here that inventions such as the two-component coolant and multifunctional oil from the HYCUT® family were created.

Technical centre

This is where we keep our equipment for testing our products for marketability under realistic experimental conditions.

We put our products through their paces in six to eight weeks of continuous operation.

Production laboratory

The approval of incoming raw materials and deliverable cooling lubricants takes place in this laboratory. The main task

for this laboratory is quality control. No product leaves our plant without being tested to strictly defined specifications.

Complete batch tracking has of course been the standard for all of our products for years. This is how we guarantee the

highest level of performance – without compromise.

Analytical laboratory

Our analytical laboratory is dedicated exclusively to our

customers for “in-process control”. Our customers send

us samples taken from their ongoing manufacturing pro-

cesses for regular testing. Using detailed results and rec-

ommendations we ensure that all fluids comply with the

agreed parameters.

We only approve and deliver our products after extensive quality control.

We annually test over 10,000 samples of cooling lubricants.

Responsibility for people and nature

We don’t consider modern chemistry, high levels of efficiency, excellent quality and environmentally

friendly production to be mutually exclusive.

• All Oemeta coolants are distinguished by a very high level of compatibility with both humans and the environment.

• The long service life and high performance of our products reduces consumption and waste levels.

• We source a large proportion of our raw materials from renewable resources.

• Our waste water is treated using modern systems.

• Our company has been using environmentally friendly electricity from renewable energy sources for years.

• Our quality management is certified in accordance with the QM DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 standard.

• Our environmental management is certified in accordance with the

UM DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 standard.

• Oemeta was the first chemical plant in Schleswig-Holstein to be awarded the

BG ‘Sicher mit System’ (‘Systematic Safety’) seal of approval for its high levels

of health and safety protection.

Analysis

In this phase, we determine the general conditions for the use of our coolants

in your production processes. We create a profile of your needs with an on-site

process analysis.

Consulting

We advise you in detail on which cooling lubricants are most suitable for your

individual production conditions. We then submit an optimisation proposal tailored

to your procedures. We jointly define important parameters such as the objectives

of a trial run.

Project management

We plan all measures required for a successful trial in this phase. This includes,

amongst other things, all logistical processes, workplace health and safety

measures, approvals for use and the preparation of the testing area (e.g. cleaning

the machine and removing the old emulsion).

Implementation

We monitor the trial run on-site with regular inspections, supervision and documen-

tation. We then make a joint assessment of the results with you using a final report.

Support

We stay in contact with you even after the successful trial run of our coolants.

We are on standby to make sure your production processes also run well in the

future. On request, we can also take over all servicing for our cooling lubricants.
