Creating a Customer Login Account To create a customer login account, go to www.northamericanstainless.com and click on the “Customer login” tab in the top right hand corner.

The user is directed to a screen with a customer login textbox. New users must request a User Name and Password. To do so, select the link that says “click here”.
The user is directed to the screen: “Customer Information and Registration”. Complete the required information.
Upon completion, select “Submit”. A NAS representative will then review the request. Upon approval, an email will be sent within 24-48 hours. The email will provide a password to allow access to the Customer Login page.

Once the user has received a password, go to www.northamericanstainless.com. Click on the “Customer login” tab in the top right hand corner.
The user is directed to the customer login textbox. Enter the required information, and then click “Submit.” It will then go to the Customer Service page.
Navigating the Customer Service Page While viewing the Customer Service Page, the user has browsing options. These options are divided into different categories.
**The user can either view these options on the Customer Menu on the left hand side, or on the center of the screen. Both options provide the same information.
New Stock Inquiry Options Under the New Stock Inquiry category, four options are available to view.

Flat Product Stock Inquiry – Imperial/Metric Depending upon the preferred measurement system, select either the “Flat Product Stock Inquiry – Imperial” link or the “Flat Product Stock Inquiry – Metric” link. A product search page appears. Submit a flat product search using imperial/metric measurements. Complete the required information.
• Enter the product type (coil, sheet, or plate). • Insert the steel type. • Insert the Finish type. • Select a standard Gauge. • Enter in the Gauge Range, Width Range, and Weight Range. • Select the Location.
Click “Submit” when finished.
Examples of Imperial and Metric:
The buttons on the top right hand corner of the sheet allow the sheet to be copied, converted into a CSV file, an Excel spreadsheet, a PDF file, or printed. The sheet can be filtered to user preferences by selecting the arrows to the right of each column title. The bottom, right hand corner of the sheet has options to go to a different page.

Long Product Stock Inquiry - Imperial/Metric Select the “Long Product Stock Inquiry – Imperial” or the “Long Product Stock Inquiry – Metric” link, per the preferred measurement system. The user is directed to a page to submit a long product search using imperial/metric measurements. Complete the required information.
• Enter the correct product type (angles, bar, LP coil, rebar coil). • Insert the steel type. • Insert the Finish type. • Enter in the Diameter Range, Leg Length Range, and Weight Range. • Select the Location.
Click “Submit” when finished.
Examples of Imperial and Metric:

Flat Product Customer Service Options
Flat Product Inquiry by PO This link allows the user to search the flat product inquiry by PO. The link leads to a page instructing the user to select a Purchase Order Number. After the Purchase Order Number is selected, click “Submit”.
*Note: This same process/format is used for the Long Product Inquiry search by PO.
Example of searching an order by a specific Purchase Order Number:
Below is an example of a search result after selecting a specific Purchase Order Number and clicking “Submit”.
To view the shipping documents for that NAS order number, click on the number beneath the “Shipped” column.

The packing list number, packing list date, total weight, and truckline appears; as well as an option to email the shipping documents for that specific NAS order number. The shipping documents include Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Test Report (example is shown below).
By clicking the email option for the shipping documents, the paperwork is emailed to the user. A notification will appear (example is shown below).

Flat Product Inquiry by Part Number This link allows the user to look up a flat product inquiry by part number. In the “Part Number” column select all, and click submit. Example of inquiry by part number:

Flat Product Sales Acknowledgement After searching for Flat Product orders, each item reflects the NAS Order number. Each number links the user to a page (shown below) with information, as well as the option to request a sales acknowledgment. To request a sales acknowledgement, click on “Request Sales Acknowledgement” in the blue text.

Long Product Customer Service Options
Long Product Inquiry by PO To search a long product order by PO number, click this link. It goes to a page to select a Purchase Order Number. After the purchase order number is chosen, click “Submit”.
*Note: This same process/format is used for the Flat Product Inquiry search by PO.

Warehouse Customer Service Options If the user clicks a warehouse option and the screen below appears, please contact the NAS representative to request access.
Warehouse Order Inquiry by PO This link allows the user to search the inquiry by PO. Select a purchase order, and click “Submit”. The process and format are the same as the flat/long product order inquiry by PO.
Warehouse Order Inquiry by Part Number This link allows the user to search the orders by the part number. Select “all” and click “Submit”. The process and format are the same as the flat/long product order inquiry by PO.
Warehouse Request a Quote This link allows the user to submit a request for a warehouse product quote. (Example shown on the right)
Complete the information in the required fields, and then click “Submit”.

General Customer Service Options
Unit Conversions This page has the measurement conversion calculators if needed.
Edit Customer Profile Click this to edit any customer information on the customer user profile. Submit to change the title, company, address, city, state, country, zip, telephone, fax, email address, and category. The user can also use this option to receive NAS news or opt out.
Logoff
This option logs off of the customer service page.

Flat Products Tab
The Flat Products tab directs users to the flat products page. It offers a brief overview of flat products and their production. On the left hand side, tabs lead to flat product steel grades, each product offered, an option to contact a sales representative, and a “Customer Login” button.
If the “Steel Grades” tab is selected, the user is taken to a page that lists the steel grades; as well as an option to learn more about a variety of grades and dimensions. The linked grades take the user to individual pages for each grade; included are, an introduction, the products available, and the processing and fabrication capabilities of the product.
The link under the “Products” section goes to a page with an overview and picture of the chosen product. The different steel types available for the product appear as well as dimensions, surface finishes, and additional information about the selected product.
On the right hand side of the page, document downloads and videos are available for viewing. These documents include: the Safety Data Sheet, Long Products Brochure, Flat Products Brochure, Safe Food Preparation Using Stainless, and NAS Ultra 303 Comparison Study. The videos are the NAS Video 1, NAS Video 2, and Gov. Bevin’s Visit.
If the user wants an overview of North American Stainless, a visual of what NAS is, or a better understanding of our products and what they make, select NAS Video 1 or 2. NAS Video 1 is a 9 minute video giving an overview of what North American Stainless is, what our products make,

the process of making NAS products, an inside look of the mill, NAS locations, and a brief history of NAS. NAS Video 2, similar to NAS Video 1 and is 4 minutes in duration.
Long Products Tab
The Long Products tab details the long products page. It offers a brief overview about long products, and their production. The tabs on the left hand side guide the user to the long product steel grades, product types, a sales representative contact link, and a “Customer Login” button.

Environmental Commitment Tab This section depicts the environmental commitment of North American Stainless. With the environmental impact at the forefront, the company strives for ongoing improvement to performance and management systems.

Quality Tab The quality tab explains the North American Stainless Quality Management System. Our laboratory facilities meet the highest standards, which ensure the efficient operation of producing the highest quality steel. On the right hand corner, the user can download and view the Process Flow Charts of Flat and Long products, as well as North American Stainless’ Quality Certifications.

Alloy Surcharges Tab Click this tab to view the alloy surcharges. Once the tab is clicked, select the preferred alloy surcharge for viewing (Flat Alloy Surcharge, Long Angle/ Rebar/ Wire Rod Alloy Surcharge, or Long Bar Alloy Surcharge). Select the desired date range, and click “Submit”. A list will open which contains the alloy surcharge for the last 12 months.

At the bottom of the Long Product’s Surcharge sheet is a link to the “Long Product Grade/Product Key”. The key assists the user the correct product to determine the applicable surcharge.

News tab This tab features a complete list of news releases from North American Stainless.
Contact To obtain contact information for a specific branch either click the “Contact Us” button located on the top right of the screen, or on the ribbon at the bottom of the screen where the branches are listed.
When clicking the “Contact Us” button located on the top right of the screen, the user is directed to a map, with a list of contacts and locations. If a specific state or region is selected on the map, the location and contact information for that specific area will appear.

The user can also scroll down on this page to look at each location’s address, email, and contact information. This page also conveniently lists the sales contact information for each branch.
By selecting a specific location on the “NAS Locations” ribbon at the bottom of the screen, the contact information of the selected location will appear.
A picture of that location, the general contact information, and the sales contacts for that location is shown.
