10 years in the service of the Hellenic Air Force (HAF). He carries the rank of Captain and has wide experience in all areas of veterinary support in the HAF. Recently, he was placed as staff officer responsible for veterinary support in Hellenic Air Force General Staff.

External scientific collaborator in small animal clinics, focusing in endoscopic surgery. The minimally invasive surgery in companion animals is the main area of his medical research.

He is a PhD candidate in the Medical School of the National University of Athens.

Special interested in animal behaviour and welfare, especially in human - animal interaction, participating in Animal Assisted Therapies/Activities Programs.
