Impactful Outreach Activities

(1) An industrial partner has invested ~500K CHF in commercialising the prototyped result of my research called “ComfortBox”– a system of connected devices that monitor health and comfort parameters in office environments, detects the social and physical context, and offers a dialogue with the users that guide them towards healthier and more productive routines.

(2) Several schools in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America have adopted the main product of my PhD research called Lantern– a set of interactive devices distributed in the classroom space, encouraging collaborative learning, by making visible learning information and integrating it in an ambient way into the classroom physical and social environment.
