Differences between UK /US CVs

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CV AND A RESUME?

In the UK, the document is called a CV ‘ Curriculum Vitae’ .

In the US, it is called ‘Personal Résumé’ or ‘Curriculum Vitae’.

• Nationality, date of birth, gender and marital status are optional information which are best left out unless there is a specific benefit to their inclusion .
