MoneySavingExpert.com have produced a guide which covers issues like mortgages, rent, utility bills and much more. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/202 0/03/uk-coronavirus-help-and-your-rights/ They do say that information is changing all the time though - so recommend checking their website regularly for updates. Help for employees, the self employed and benefits claimants is available - BUT understanding what you are entitled to and how to claim can be tricky. This really useful guide produced by the Money Advice Service explains things in a simple to understand way. https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en /articles/coronavirus-what-it-means-for-you Again they do say that information is changing all the time though - so recommend checking their website regularly for updates.

Shopping Asda and Marks and Spencers havelaunched a 'volunteer shopping card' tohelp those who are self-isolating due tothe corona virus. The new initiative comes after the UKGovernment identified over a million people inEngland and further afield as particularlyvulnerable to corona virus, due to certainmedical conditions, and issued advice for themto self-isolate for 12 weeks. Since then, thousands of people across thecountry have signed up to become volunteers intheir community, in order to help those who areunable to fulfill essential tasks, such as shopping. How do the volunteer cards help? Both Asda’s and M&S's volunteer card comes inthe form of an e-gift card, with a bar-code thatcan be scanned for payments. It can bedownloaded and presented on a phone screen,or be printed on A4 paper and scanned by amember of checkout staff. This allows for a contactless way of shopping - anessential feature in helping to decrease the riskto shoppers. https://cards.asda.com/the-volunteer-shopping-card https://www.marksandspencer.com/all-in-this-together/p/p60282075
