Menu of services for fathers Good Beginnings FATHERHOOD SUPPORT PROGRAM offers the following FREE services for fathers. Please contact Good Beginnings for more information at 802-595-7953 or email [email protected] Emergency Funds: To address family needs during dire financial circumstances. Ex. grocery money, gas money, transportation assistance, childcare assistance, etc. Workshops, Events & Outings: Special Dad and kid events will be offered throughout the year to encourage fathers to spend quality time with their children. All events are free to the community. Prizes, fatherhood information, and support available at each event. Stipends also available to address barriers to participation (childcare and transportation). Education: Scholarships for counseling and parenting classes. Literacy: Resources and free children’s books available. Fatherhood and parenting books accessible through our community resource center (open Thursdays 9:30-2:00). Baby Carriers and Baby Gear: Carriers offered on a sliding scale fee, or free to eligible families. Diapers, clothing, strollers, cribs, feeding supplies and much more available upon request.
