I am an independent architect, travelling between building projects across India. My interests lie at the
intersection of indigenous knowledge of building, ecology and a socio-cultural understanding of local
communities. I emphasize material culture and building practices as lenses to analyze and address socio-
economic inequality, environmental degradation, and political inequity in rural India. Currently, I am
pursuing my graduate studies in Human Geography at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
