C.Way and Imaginocean's 47m yacht and 8m tender
Australian builder C.Way has collaborated with Imaginocean Yacht Design on designs for a yacht and a tender that enhance outdoor living. The 47m yacht project features extensive outdoor space, including an expansive beach club, an enormous open-air saloon on the upper deck and a foredeck lounge area with a spa pool. In the main saloon a connection with the external environment is maintained by near full-height windows that slide open completely to make the room feel like an outdoor space. The full-beam master suite and four en-suite guest cabins all feature large windows and extensive storage. For crew there are four en-suite cabins, a private lounge and galley facilities. The yacht has a long, low profile and a long waterline length that allows higher displacement speeds with lower fuel consumption. The two companies also worked together on the design of an 8m tender, the first of which is under construction in Hobart and due to be launched later this year. The aim was to create a multi-use vessel that would allow guests to go diving or spend whole days exploring, rather than just making quick shipto-shore trips.

Theres any number of limousine-style tenders out there: but they are a single use vessel, notes Will Allison of Tasmania-based Imaginocean Yacht Design. The objective here was to create a practical boat that would serve as a comfortable tender, but also be suitable for a range of other activities.
