Partners we are privileged to work with:

CWC has welcomed the support of the following companies as speakers and

sponsors at our events:

Corporate Responsibility CWC does not consider corporate responsibility as a mere philanthropic gesture or add-on. It is part of our core business. We print materials and banners locally, use local security and transport companies, software companies, cleaners, catering, local stand builders and entertainment. CWC funds the Technical Sessions at the Ghana Summit and with the support of Halliburton at Nigeria Oil & Gas so that engineers, smaller firms and students can attend free of charge.

CWC takes its responsibility towards the environment very seriously. We offset the carbon emissions for staff air travel to and from our events and courses.

Supporting local causes

We donate money to local charities in countries where we work.

We have supported Drifting Angels Orphanage in Ghana. In 2009 we funded the construction of new washrooms and toilet facilities for the orphanage. CWC continues to make donations to help build facilities at the orphanage and a sustainable future. CWC is a major supporter of the Nigerian Childcare Trust and also supports the Motherless Babies Charity in Nigeria.

We are prominent members of Nigeria Business Coalition Against Aids. CWC uses its network of senior contacts to help NIBUCAA spreads its message to corporate Nigeria. We also help raise funds and boost membership.

Tackling key issues

In-country, our work is carried out in consultation with the key stakeholders including the Government Ministries, internationals investors, NGO’s and industry experts. For example, in Nigeria, we host a special session on the Niger Delta to engage all stakeholders to discuss the prevalent issues. We also work with governments and UNCTAD in researching and holding events on sustainable development and local content. And it’s not just externally...

CWC is an equal opportunities employer offering best current working practices to ensure our teams are well-placed to deliver excellent results. Amongst our 100 permanent staff at our London headquarters, 19 languages are spoken. In addition to our own staff, CWC has offices, partners and agents in Algeria, Argentina, China, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Italy, Malaysia, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey.
