INTRODUCTION TO CYANOBATERIA
Large and diverse phylum of kingdom bacteria.

THE STRUCTURE

DIVISION AND MULTIPLICATION
Cyanobacteria reproduce asexually, and some other methods. In other words cyanobacteria can reproduce by budding, fragmentation, and binary fission. Fission and fragmentation are a form of vegetative reproduction.

HABITATS Can be found in almost all environments
where there is enough sunlight to carry on the process of photosynthesis.
Soil, the surface of rocks, marine environments, swimming in water.
Symbiosis with lichens. Tolerant to extreme environments such as hot
springs and salty waters.
