What is cyber-bullying?

Cyber-bullying involves the use of information and communication technologies to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behaviour by an individual or group, that is intended to harm others.

What does this mean?

• Online

• Deliberate

• Hostile behavior

• Occurs repeatedly

• Intention is to harm others

The Affects

• Depression

• Anxiety

• Humiliation

• Isolation

• Makes victim a target for others

• Suicide
