The RS-series
Our cylindrical grinding machines and our angle grinding machines both combine excellent grin-ding performances with high operating comfort. With customized solutions for various applications we supply the appropriate machine for your need. The basic machine with its extensive stan-dard and special accessories is available either with a Siemens or a Fanuc control.
Cylindrical grinding in perfection
MACHINE BED
A rigid Meehanite cast machine bed in ribbed design provides a high stability.
With V-flat guides of the work table we reach a high grinding and grant high
precision accuracy. Special precautions provide the cooling and the cleaning of
the machine bed.
GRINDING SPINDLE HEAD
Use of a combination of hydrostatic and
hydrodynamic bearings in the grinding
spindle. Efficient lubrication creates a
high pressure oil film providing a high
rigidity and a good vibration damping.
WORK HEAD
The work head with precision spindle
bearings offers high rigidity for the
intake of extraordinary radial and axial
loads. Optional swivel range via a
spindle driven by a servo motor.
AUTOMATED GRINDING
A vast number of special accessories including automatic tool balancers, crash
sensors, automatic whetting systems, various measuring sensors and much more
facilitate the automated workpiece machining.
