Hillsong Worship

D in 10 is a devotion that can be done by an individual or family in about 10 minutes a day. This weeks devotion is based on the book of Genesis. NOTES

When the Bible speaks of “unity” what is it really saying? Is unity possible if one is living

according to the flesh, according to the old man, that is a system that stems from a heart

(mind) not fixed on Christ? Is it possible for one to be unified where there is sin and an

unwillingness to repent? We often think of unity as simply coming together, but when the

Bible speaks of unity it is all based on oneness in Christ. Note, if anyone or anything other

than Christ is the center of the church there could never be unity; for the church is the

body of Christ and unity is based on oneness in Christ. Therefore, anyone seeking to divide

the Church (that is the body of Christ) is in the flesh and can never bring about true unity

which is only found in love, the perfect bond of unity.
