Edito du Président du Comité Départemental du Jeu d’Echecs des Bouches-du-Rhône Juin 2007 La saison 2006/2007 aura été une année importante pour notre département tant au niveau national avec des bons résultats par équipes qu’individuels. Au niveau départemental je tenais à remercier les clubs qui ont accueillis les compétitions du C.D.J.E 13. Mais aussi les dirigeants qui ont œuvrés à développer notre sport. De plus je tenais ici à remercier mon Comité Directeur qui a été à la hauteur des engagements pris par le C.D.J.E 13 avec comme principe le dévouement, le respect et l’écoute vis-à-vis de tous les interlocuteurs durant cette saison. Pour ma part comme je m’y été engagé j’ai essayé au mieux d’être présent lors des différentes manifestations des clubs. Mais aussi en participant aux différents Comités Directeurs et Assemblées Générales des clubs qui sont des moments où le débat était au cœur des réflexions et des projets à envisager.

Le nombre des licenciés notre département a fini la saison aux alentours des 1.200 licenciés, ce qui est encourageant, mais nous avons le potentiel de faire mieux, je le crois intimement. L’ambition première doit se porter sur les secteurs jeunes et scolaires qui sont essentiels à notre politique à tous. Car c’est de la masse des joueurs que va naître nos futurs espoirs.

Enfin je tenais à féliciter les Champions Départementaux de la saison 2006/2007
