OUR VISION...
TO SEE PEOPLE WALK IN THE
ABUNDANT LIFE CHRIST PROMISED. OUR MISSION...
REVEALING JESUS TO THE
UNCHURCHED.
"The Seven Simple Secrets to Celebrate the Savior this Season." Psalms 100
1. Shout
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!" (v.1). We don’t have problems shouting at a ball game, but we very seldom raise our voice in church. God made us people of
emotion and we should get excited about what God is doing in our lives. He has given us His joy and that joy has a shout in it somewhere, so SHOUT to the Lord...all the earth.
2. Serve.
"Serve the Lord with gladness!..." (v.2a). God has always asked His people to serve Him. But notice that God doesn't want us to just serve Him, He wants us to serve Him with gladness. There's a huge difference between gladness and sadness. This season serve Him with a smile.
3. Sing.
"...Come into His presence with singing!” (v.2b). What has happened to your SONG? When did you stop singing? You stop singing when you take your eyes off the Savior and see the wind & waves. You can go from singing to sinking.
4. Surrender.
"Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His
people, and the sheep of His pasture" (v.3). God is God; God is creator; God is
Shepherd. I am dependent on Him. He created even the air that I breath. He knows every hair on my head. He knows every beat of my heart. I thank HIM for being God - I am dependent on Him. Therefore I will submit and surrender to Him.
5. Seek
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!" (v.4a). What are we
seeking? His gates and His courts. How do we enter? With thanksgiving & praise. The Hebrew word "enter" means to go, come, abide, apply, attain. The transliteration is "bow". Bowing is a good way to seek, enter or praise.
6. Sacrifice
"...Give thanks to Him; bless His name!" (v.4b). Giving to God is an act of sacrifice. When you worship you are giving Him your time, energy, and your attention. God has made us in such a way that we are to give ourselves to Him.
7. Stand
"For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all
generations" (v.5). Don't give up; don't give in; don't back down...keep standing; trusting; hoping; believing.
Count your blessings instead of your crosses.
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes.
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears.
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean.
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth.
Count on God instead of yourself.
When all else fails – STAND! Eph.6:13...having done all to stand. Stand therefore...You can count on God. He is GOOD. He has a LOVE for you that won't quit. What He did for one generation, He'll do for another. Take the time to work these secrets into this season of the Savior. God Bless!
Please be sure to bring back filled grocery bags by Dec. 14th.

FRIDAY NIGHTS MEAL AT 6PM SERVICE AT 7PM
Sr. Adult News… Wow! Here we are in December already,
and Christmas is swiftly making its way to
us. It’s the season of giving and
sometimes we get a little frustrated
because we can’t get and give to others
the way we would like. Let me encourage
you to let someone know that you’re
“praying” for them this Christmas
season. Love and prayer are truly the
gifts that keep on giving. And in all we do,
let’s keep “Christ” in Christmas always. We had a great Sr. Adult Christmas party
again this year. It’s truly a blessing to
have so many come together in the unity
of fellowship, we had 80 in attendance.
Thank you for coming and being a part.
Thank you Lisa Wells and Barb Huffman
this year for all your help.
