FOREWORD

The third edition of the Directory of South African Minerals Beneficiators is a reflection

of the mineral beneficitiation industry that contributes to the growth of the economy of

South Africa.

The purpose of the directory is to create a database of beneficiators in recognition of

their contribution to the mineral industry of South Africa in light of the launched Minerals

Beneficitiation strategy. It aims to promote and create awareness of their contribution to

the mineral industry of South Africa. It also provides information on respective locations,

contact details and the various products beneficiated in South Africa. Due to the

economic recession, there has been a reduction in the number of businesses operating

in the beneficiation industry.

While the Beneficiation Economics Directorate endeavoured to incorporate all relevant

and accessible beneficiators actively engaged in the Republic of South Africa, other

protagonists who we omitted are invited to submit their respective profiles for inclusion

in the future publications.

The Directorate would like to acknowledge the participation of the following institutions
