Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or elec-trical components can cause a fire. Clean up fuelspills immediately.

NOTICEAccumulated grease and oil on a machine is a firehazard.

Remove debris with steam cleaning or high pressurewater, at the specified interval in the Maintenance In-terval Schedule or each time any significant quantity

of oil is spilled on the machine.

Regular inspection of the machine is necessary tomaintain performance, availability, and safety. Do awalk around inspection daily.

Inspect all easily accessible areas of the machinefor loose fasteners, missing parts, damaged parts, cracked parts, broken parts, worn parts, debrisbuildup, oil leaks, coolant leaks, and fuel leaks.

Note: Initiate corrective action forfluid leaks, damaged parts, worn parts, loose fasteners

and missing parts. Initiate corrective action foraccumulated trash, dirt, grease, or oil.

During this general machine inspection, give specialfocus to the following items.
