The month of Januaryflags off the New Yearwith hope and

enthusiasm across the entireworld. New Year Evecelebrations instill newness inone’s life, and prepare everyindividual for new beginnings. For the devout, this auspicioustime of the first half of themonth is considered to beoptimal for one’s devotionaland emotionally-invigoratingenergies. As an old tradition,a good number of Hindus inparticular observe veryspecial, disciplined routinesfor their spiritual re-empowerment. Saints andTapasvis of yore have advisedone and all to observe chastity, and practise meditationaldevotion from 3.30 a.m.onwards every day for the firstthree weeks. Despite harshweathers, many devotees alsocommit to taking daily dips inthe revered Rivers of NorthernIndia with the hopes ofreceiving Mukti (Liberation).

After early morningshower/wash, concentrationand contemplation with orwithout specific mantras help

in disciplining and upliftingone’s level of consciousnessevery morning, and whencarried out for at least twohours continuously for threeweeks proves to be a great, fulfilling experience. Somepeople prefer to visit templesand places of worship for theirmeditations, as saidenvironment holds verypowerful vibrations. Thesepractices in differentdisciplines of the path ofBhakti have very deepconnections with the path ofGyan, as enunciated by theSupreme Being directly. Themost auspicious hours of theearly morning during themonth of January take one intothe deep exploration of Self-Realisation and God-Realisation. This furtherenables practitioners toexperience the realsignificance of inner purity inone’s life. Inner purityundoubtedly and inevitablyleads to sacred feelings ofinner peace.

For the Brahma Kumarisand Brahma Kumars world-wide, January holds infinite

value as the Founding Father,Brahma Baba, reached hisfinal cherished goal of spirituallife on 18th January 1969. Thefinal teaching shared byBrahma Baba is summed up inthree powerful words:‘Niraakari, Nirvikaari andNirahankaari (May you beIncorporeal, Vice-less andEgoless!)’. This Maha-Mantra bestowed to themembers of the divine BKfamily in particular, andpeople of the world in general, acts as the most valuableblessing. Though not very easyto understand, Brahma Babaset an example for everyoneto:

1) go within themselves andpractise soul-consciousnessin the spiritual companion-ship of the Supreme, andthereby free oneself fullyfrom the karma of theprevious 63 lives,2) reach one’s angelic stateof consciousness to be ableto serve the Universe, andbecome 100% pure anddivine again. The example of Brahma

Baba is so inspiring for all of

us, it reveals how we humanbeings can connect with theSupreme Father, evolve andrejuvenate ourselves again toinculcate piety and divinitydeep inside our consciousnessand actions. Just as BrahmaBaba transformed himselfcompletely to lead humanityby his personal example ofcomplete surrender unto theSupreme Being, and spiritualservice of highest order, we tooare encouraged to follow hisfootsteps. All we need to do isto keep courage, be constantlyenthusiastic and follow aspiritually-disciplined routine. This would help revive ourtrue inner nature, and fill uswith the wisdom to lead a lifeof divinity based on spiritualtruths as shared in the ShrimadBhagwad Gita. By matchingour thoughts and actions withthe blueprint of God’steachings, we inspire everyonearound us to explore thebeauty of Spirituality and leadvery happy, meaningful days, weeks, months and years tillwe reach our spiritualperfection.

Society in every corner ofthe world is searching fortruth, inner peace, unconditional love within thefamily, and tension-freeworkplaces. The simplepractice of spiritual awakening

and inner exploration isachieved by making the mindquiet by focusing on theeternal values and powers ofthe self, and then engage in themost peaceful, beautifulexperience of rememberingGod. We are eternal spiritualbeings, human souls who canalways look up to and connectwith the Supreme Beingdirectly, and follow the greatexample of Brahma Baba inthe areas of Self-Awakening,Self-Development, Self-Realisation and Self-Perfection before flying backto the Subtle Region asAngels…

With such wonderfulexperiences during theMeditative Month of January,we will not only be pursuingour own spiritual goals, butalso motivate society to beintrospective and explore theirown universal goodness, which remains yet unknown.External, material abundanceand comforts alone are notenough for anyone to feel realpeace and happiness. Aspiritually-orientated life ofservice unto others wouldprove to be the Master Key foraccomplishing our cherishedgoals of truly happy lives.

May everyone receiveblessings of the SupremeFather Shiva and Avyakt

Brahma (BapDada) to feel‘Wah! Wah!’ all the time fromnow on! Wah Baba Wah! WahBaba’s Divine Family, Wah!

The following recentDivine Versions are sharedwith the faith that you willmake this part of thefoundation for your spiritualendeavours in January:

Together with biddingfarewell to the old year, havethe determined thought to letgo of any slightest weakness, even in your dreams, and aswell as imbibing virtues withzeal and enthusiasm, remainconstantly ‘Wah, Wah!’(wonderful).Happiness is visibly

sparkling on the forehead ofeach child. Seeing eachhappy child, the Father isalso singing a song in Hisheart: Wah children! Wah!God, Dilaram, the Comforterof Hearts, is visible in eachone’s heart.Have all of you imbibed one

or another speciality todayand renounced beingordinary? Has each one ofyou thought of somenewness in your sanskars?God wants to see the sparkle

of Carefree Emperors on thefaces of all the spiritualchildren. Let there be somespecial enthusiasm in yourheart and constantly check

Page 6: DADIJI’S AUSPICIOUS CONTENTS

this enthusiasm: Did theenthusiasm remain asenthusiasm or did it change? The children’s faces shouldhave the enthusiasm ofimbibing one or anothervirtue. If you imbibe avirtue, the defect willautomatically then finish.

At Amritvela in themorning, and after Amritvela, check your thought andhave the determined thoughtin your heart and you willreceive extra help fromBapDada. Have this thoughtwith a true heart. Do not justhave the thought to testwhether it happens or not.Do not become slack in your

enthusiasm. Revise it everyday. Give your weakness tothe Father. Do not take backwhat you have already given.Remain happy and share that

happiness. Remember: I ama Brahma Kumar or a BrahmaKumari. I am not ordinary. You know Father Brahma.Although you have not seenFather Brahma, you do knowhim, do you not? “My Baba”.The more you have thisconsciousness of “mine” forthe Father, “my Baba, myBaba”, accordingly, yourremembrance will becomeeasy because whatever is‘mine’ is never forgotten. So,make the Father ‘mine’ and

then don’t forget what is‘mine’.Every morning, look at the

face of your mind: Is it asGod likes?Wake up in the morning and

remember what type of childyou are. I am a ‘Wah Wah’child. You will remainconstantly ‘wah wah’, willyou not? Pay attention to this.No matter what scene of

drama happens – it came andit went and so why are youholding onto it? Nothingever remains all the time; itgoes away. Why do you holdonto it? If you ever have anoff mood, then remember thewords ‘Wah, Wah’.Just as God, your Father, is

like a mountain of sweetness, you should remember theSweet Father and SweetInheritance (of Paradise –complete purity, peace, health, wealth andhappiness) and become mostSweet.By remembering the Sweet

Father, you become the mostelevated beings, and byinculcating the jewels ofknowledge, you becomemulti-million times fortunatefor the ensuing 21 births. The Sweet Father comes to

transform the bitter oldworld into a sweet (pure)world. He makes the spiritual

children just like He is.See that no bodily being or

physical possessions areremembered at the end.Continue to remember Godwith great love. ‘O SweetBaba, we have receivedeverything from You. DearBaba, You are making us solovely...’ Become as lovelyand pure as God, the Father,is. There is no one as lovingas Baba. There should be so much

love for the Supreme Beingwho is making us worthy asdiamonds. Remove allinternal defects and becomelike a diamond. The mainflaw/defect is that of body-consciousness, whichtroubles you a great deal. Itis possible for you livingdiamonds to remove yourdefects. Remembrance ofGod should make you calmand cool.

Jewels of Knowledgeshould always emerge fromyour lips. Bitter stones (harshwords) should not emerge…Remain as introverted as

possible. Be peaceful. Speakas much as is necessary. Avoidspreading peacelessness. Donot make the intellect wanderby being extroverted.Bind yourself in the bond of

love for Spiritual Service.Om Shanti

BRAHMA BABA – FOUNDINGFATHER OF NEW AGE

( ... Contd. on page no. 34)

The day of EighteenthJanuary is thememorial of the

completion of spiritual effortsof angelic illustrious spiritualFather-figure, who made hisdebut in the year 1937 inHyderabad Sindh. In that year,at the age of about sixty years,he, by a call divine, becameinstrumental in giving tohumankind, including himself,a system of revolutionaryspiritual principles thatseemed to challenge manydecrepit and decadent beliefsand practices. In their content, the spiritual discourses thatcame from his lotus lips wereso original and, in their impact, were so powerful that theycaused a sensation and a stir.

Those who had deeplyyearned for pristine purity, buthad found themselves slidingdeeper into the quagmire ofvices, now found a new zestand a strong hope in thesediscourses. Those, who hadkeenly aspired for new, freshand convincing knowledge buthad reaped onlydisappointment, now felt thatthey had discovered the nectar.

They woke up from their deepslumber of ignorance, cameout of the grave of theirlethargy and began to racetowards the high summits ofspirituality. Those who hadbeen earnestly seekingliberation from the shackles ofcumbersome, costly and time-consuming rituals and chainsof cultish custodians andgauche gurus and were sick ofoutdated and adulteratedscriptures and painful pest ofcaste system, saw in it God’scordial invitation and sureformula for deliverance.Womenfolk who werevirtually living as prisoners, felt that these discourses werelike an irresistible call foremancipation from the horrificacts of male dominance andtorture.

But the entrenchedorthodoxy and the putridpriesthood considered it as anonslaught on their alreadycracking and crumblingfortresses. They formed anunholy alliance with themisinformed guardians, self-serving politicians andunimaginative bureaucracy so

as to safeguard their vestedinterests and, altogether, raisedhue and cry and dust and din.But Brahma Baba stood wellagainst all these social stormsand came out as a valiant anda dauntless exponent of truthin the face of heavy odds. Thiswas his first heroic successwhich is now highly eulogizedby the priests, the pundits, theparents and the politicians whohave seen the results of hiscrusade against man’s slaveryto the five major evils andhumiliation and torture ofwomen.

Brahma Baba was a greatvisionary who gave the peoplea fascinating new-worldvision. He was indeed aMaharaja of his sense organsand a consummate yogi whowas far ahead of others.Neither the unjustifiedcriticism and vile oppositioncould dampen his high spirit, nor adoration or admiration ofhis audience could take awayfrom him his humanity. Heremained as an undisturbed, calm and graceful spiritualpatriarch, who did not rest onhis oars until the end, but

always helped spiritual seekers withlove, care and compassion. Heworked tirelessly as a great architectfor the new age which he hadenvisioned and called the GoldenAge. He gave a new definition ofPurity and set new and highstandards of private and publicmorality. He set new, high and cleargoals before all. He paved a new pathfor the people to march on andgenerously offered his guidance.

He raised the status of spiritualityfrom mere ritualism, scripturereading or rigid forms of worship toits proud place of purity andenlightenment that joined man toGod and uplifted him to a worship-worthy state. He elevated spiritualityfrom a confusing set of dogmas to arationally valid set of simple andprofound principles that could beexperienced and placed before thecircles of sophisticated thinkers andscientists in the world auditoria. Heenhanced its sanctity by declaring ita gift of God to His beloved children. His style of presentation of thisknowledge was unique. One felt itwas like listening to the mellifluousnotes of a flute or to melodiousdivine songs when one listened tohim. The discourses came in such avibrant way that one happily becamedivested of one’s body-consciousness and felt a state ofethereal existence with a deepexperience of peace and bliss.

and avarice, Brahma Baba was the epitome of selflessservice and spirit of renunciation. I was a child when I cameinto Gyan yet BrahmaBaba looked after us with

such love and care as if wewere princes and princesses. It was my fortune that I cameto Baba. My lokik motherknown as Dadi All-rounderhad intense love for Baba. Myfather did not know what yogaand knowledge were and whatwas happening. My motherhad knowledge of the Gita andalso used to do a lot of Bhaktii.e. devotional practices. Babaallowed little children to stayand study there as they woulddo in a gurukul.. I was one ofthe older children and as I waseight years old, I was put inthe boarding house in OmNiwas. Our family was inKarachi and Baba opened theboarding hostel in Hyderabad.

BABA’SSUSTENANCE WAS

SUPERB!

Baba used to call usthakurs (idols)

Baba sustained littlechildren with great care andlove. In India, small idols ofdeities are kept at home on agaddi (they make a gaddiespecially to keep the idolson). The idols are made of goldand silver and people worshipthem. They’re called thakursin Sindhi. Baba used to say,“These are my living thakurs.”We were told “You are athakur; you were a deity andyou will become a deity.” Babaalways filled us withintoxication, and we used tomove along with the divineintoxication that we wereBaba’s thakurs.. Baba used tosay that devotees offer the firstfruits of the season to theirfavourite deity. “Those arenon-living idols, but these aremy living idols and so seasonalfruits should first be offered tothem”. In this way, Baba usedto give a seasonal fruit first tous. Baba himself would cut thefruits and put them in a bucket. In boarding school, during the

interval, he would hold eachof us and feed us in our mouth.Baba looked after us childrenwith so much love.

Baba’s Loving Care wasUnparalleled

Baba would write lessonsfor us children, which weretaught to us by our seniorsisters, i.e., Dadis. He wouldwrite dialogue/little plays andwe would enact them. He alsoused to write songs and poemsand Dadi Mitthu would teachus through singing. DadiChandramani used to teach usdrill (physical exercise) everyday. Before the drill, we wouldsit on the bed and practiseseeing the soul face-to-face,considering the self as a soul.Baba made this lesson of thesoul firm. Everyday, after thedrill, Baba and Mamma wouldcome to the place where wehad the drill, to wish us “GoodMorning” by shaking hands.

We children used to live ina big hall where 80 beds werelaid out. At night, a motherwould make the beds andmake us sit inside themosquito net. She wouldcheck with a torch to see ifthere were any mosquitoesinside the net. Then she’dclose the mosquito net like acurtain is closed in a templein front of the idol. Later onBaba and Mamma wouldcome to wish each of us “Good

Night.”Are there any father and

mother in the entire world whowould go to their children towish them good morning andgood night in such a way? Noteven in the Golden age!

Baba used to make usadopt three forms in a day

Along with the best care,Baba gave us knowledge. Hewould ask us to check ourchart for three minutes aftersitting inside the mosquito neton the bed. He taught us tocheck: “What did you doduring the entire day?”Babawould give us the knowledge“Children, become Brahma,Vishnu and Shankar. Whenyou wake up in the morning, create the vision of a beautifulworld and become Brahma.Sustain this during the day andso become Vishnu. At night, become Shankar and destroy, finish and let go of the entireday’s shortcomings, if any.”We had a regular discipline tocheck our chart like this whilethe song was played. After thatBaba and Mamma wouldcome to wish us all ‘GoodNight’.

Another song would beplayed when we satcontemplating ourselves assoul. At that time, we didn’thave much knowledge aboutGod. We were only told about

soul-consciousness and weregiven the practice to be soul-conscious. This would be forthree minutes when we wouldsit face-to-face and give eachother the Drishti of soul-consciousness. After that wewould go to sleep with thesong ‘Sleep O princess…’being played. All of us wouldgo to sleep at once. That sceneused to be worth seeing. Weslept in such a way as if wewere Baba’s thakurs andprincesses.

The faith and intoxicationwhich Baba gave us – “You area soul, you are a thakur, andyou are becoming a deity” –was very firm. The awarenessthat I am Brahma, Vishnu andShankar was also very firm.We used to ask each otherearly in the morning, “Who areyou now?” And we’d reply,“I’m Brahma.” During the daywhen asked we would say toeach other, “I’m Vishnu”,when asked at night the answerwould be, “I’m Shankar.”

We were taken for a walkafter drill in the morning. Aguru would hold his satsang inthe garden where we used towalk. Baba composed a songfor those who would go to thesatsang and Mitthu Daditaught us to sing it. We wouldgo into that garden and sing:‘A spider creates its own web,

makes its own household andgets trapped in it, so how canit free others?’ We, youngchildren, would sing that songlaughing and playing. Itirritated them very much butthey couldn’t do anythingbecause we were children andso they kept quiet. In this way,Baba had Godly service donethrough us from childhood.

Baba taught us to givemessage and serve

Once, some Governmentofficers visited us at OmNiwas. The building was verytall and Baba had devised‘Om’ sign made with electriclight bulbs and put on the topof it; so it could be seen froma distance, even from therailway station. When thoseofficials came, Baba had usenact a short play. One childplayed Bhula Bhai andanother, a Brahma Kumari. Inthe play, the Brahma Kumariasks Bhula Bhai, “Bhula Bhai,do you know who you are?”Bhulabhai says, “Can’t yousee? I’m a human being.” TheBrahma Kumari says, “BhulaBhai, you are Bhola(innocent). You don’t knowabout your own self. You don’teven know who you are!”Those officers understood thatit was for them. Then theBrahma Kumari explained toBhula Bhai who ‘I am’ and

Page 11: DADIJI’S AUSPICIOUS CONTENTS

The World Renewal, January 2014 11

what ‘my name is’. Theofficers listened andunderstood that it wasindirectly for them. Babaalways used to say that ifyoung children explainknowledge to adults theywon’t feel bad about it, or takeit as an insult. So Baba usedto prepare dialogue as per thesituation and time and had itenacted by the children.

PicketingSince many of our family

members and relatives weredispleased with us for ourjoining the Om Mandali, theyresorted to picketing. Once,we’d gone for a walk in thegarden and when we got back, picketing was going on.People were camped on thesteps up to Om Niwas. Theysaid, “Children, all of you maygo inside, but we won’t let theadults in.” Among the groupwere our maternal andpaternal uncles and otherrelatives. When they asked usto go inside we said, “No. Wewon’t go in unless you allowthe elders to go too. We’llstand here.” Two hours passed. They began to feel sorry for usas relatives of each child werein the group. They startedoffering us chocolates, sweets, etc. but we didn’t takeanything from them and juststood there. They came to us

repeatedly and said, “Eat thischocolate, eat that sweet, eattoffee.” But we had so muchdivine intoxication that wetold them, “You people are likemonkeys. We don’t takeanything from monkeys.” Wethrew the chocolates andeverything away. Although wewere small, we had theintoxication that we wereGod’s children, hence likeGod.

Baba Empoweredordinary women

Baba would inspire anduplift us by saying, “You areGod’s children. You are themasters even of God, becausea child is both a child and amaster.” We children forgotthe entire world – our mother, father, maternal and paternaluncles and aunties, everybody– because of this intoxication. We felt right from our divinebirth that Baba is our lokik andalokik mother and father. Wenever remembered our lokikmother or father. In thebeginning, I remembered mygrandmother just once becauseshe would feed me tastymorsels of food while I keptrunning here and there. Sheused to run after me and verylovingly fed me in my mouth. But here we would be given abig plate to eat from. I missedmy grandmother just once

because of this, and one daywhen I peeped outside and sawno one there, I went home, stayed for a while, met mygrandmother and came backagain.

Baba got us intoxicated tosuch an extent that the feet ofour intellect didn’t touch theground. We always felt that wewere up above in the sky.Besides, there was the role oftrance-visions then. Babawould come and give drishtiand the entire class would gointo trance. Someone would bedancing, someone would berunning around, or calling outfor Krishna; it was a verywonderful part.

A warrant in my nameOur formal education began

in Karachi and Baba wouldwrite songs and poems as wellas daily lectures for us. Hewould come personally andtell us the song. Baba filledus with divine intoxication andreared us with great love andcare. The lesson of ‘soul’ wasso firm that we never forgot it.Sometimes, when we childrensat in solitude, we would seeeach other as a soul; we neverhad any other knowledge.

Along with our education, some disruption also startedpouring in. The children, whowere under-age, got a warrantfrom the authorities and Baba

Page 12: DADIJI’S AUSPICIOUS CONTENTS

12 The World Renewal, January 2014

asked them to go home. Awarrant had come in my namealso so I went home and stayedthere for a year. After a year, one day when everyone in myfamily was sleeping, mymother and I crept out and wentto Om Niwas by cart. She leftme there and went back home. After that she didn’t return totake me and I stayed on.

Visions:When I was eight- years old,

my part of divine visions began.Baba had come to my lokikmother for a Satsang inKarachi. She took me alongand went to attend the S butwhilst sitting in the Satsang, Iwent into trance. At that timethere was no name for thesubtle region at all. All thosewho had visions, had those onlyof heaven. I came and grew upin the yagya just playing.Trance and visions happenedbefore that.

GENTLENESS

To be of real help withouttaking root in someoneelse’s mind requires greatgentleness. See andunderstand without eitherwilfully interfering orcreating dependence.Gentleness is not lack ofstrength but a quality whichdoesn’t disturb, doesn’tpush, yet it knows its ownpower.

Page 13: DADIJI’S AUSPICIOUS CONTENTS

The World Renewal, January 2014 13

Every person needs peace, love, happiness, andpower in order to

experience a good life. But, howcan human beings attain these?Purity is the mother of peace.Non-violence is our originalreligion. It is the most elevatedreligion. Non-violence meansthere should not be any negativeor evil thoughts for the self orfor others. There should be unityin what we say and what wepractise.

How can a soul receive peaceand love? By surrenderingeverything to God; consideringthat nothing is mine. Thisawareness makes the intellectvirtuous and the soul startsmoving towards its satogunistage. One has to look only atothers’ virtues and certainlyone’s gaze, i.e. drishti will bespiritual and pure. Besides, Ineed to have the attitude to uplifteveryone. If I practise what Ipreach, others will naturally beinspired by me.

Since the establishment ofthis Yagya in 1937, it is thepowers of purity and yoga, which have enabled such a great

GOD HAS SHOWN MEHOW TO LIVE A GOOD

LIFE…

expansion to take place. I needto ask myself, ‘What and who isin my heart’? God has upliftedme and has shown me what agood life is. I should do the samefor others.

How should I live and howshould I die? In fact, God hastaught us how to live and howto die. I have to become thedestroyer of attachment. I haveto live a good life by beingdetached and loving like a lotusflower. I have to be detachedfrom my own body and frombodily relationships. Thereshould not be any arrogance,body-consciousness or ego.

We have to live our liveswhilst following Brahma Baba.He looked at Shiv Baba only andlived his life according to ShivBaba’s directions. Shiv Babaestablished this Yagya throughBrahma Baba. The weak soulsneed power; everyone nowneeds the power to tolerate.Everyone now needs a spiritualsupport.

This is the path to establishpeace in the world. This is thepath which takes us to the landof liberation. We have

understood the five main vicesviz Lust, Anger, Greed, Ego andAttachment but Jealousy alsosometimes raises its head. Therefore, I need a great deal ofpower in my mind; enoughpower that when I see anyone’sweakness, it’s as if I don’t seeit. I must remember that world-transformation takes placethrough self- transformation.

I am the child of the Master. He has three main forms –Supreme Father, SupremeTeacher and Supreme Preceptor,i.e. Satguru. He teaches me andis making me worthy to go backhome along with Himself.People think that there is eternalliberation but no one can existwithout playing a part exceptShiv Baba Himself.

Who is my companion? It isGod. My friend, my master, mytrue guide is God .Every personmust think that they have to livein the home and family as anobserver whilst making Himtheir companion. If one has suchfeeling, he will then receive somuch power that he will moveforward. He will do a great dealof service. My Father is Karan-karavanhar. In order to becomean instrument, one has to bepure, humble, sincere, obedientand faithful. Such an effort-maker will then receive constantsupport from the One who is theIntellect of the Wise.

Stop asking ‘HOW’ but say‘NOW’!

“Wish you a very happynew year”– these are generallythe words one hears one’sfriends and relatives greetingeach other with. Though a signof goodwill and goodrelationship, and also pleasantto hear, these words have beenlosing their realisable (if notreal) value with the passing ofevery year, due to the risingwave of sufferings and sorrow, even as our currency has beenlosing its real value because ofspurt in prices every year. AsBuddha or Nanak said, thisworld is full of sufferings and,if a friend wishes one a happynew year, one feels that he hassome well-wishing friendsafter all who wish for his well-being and happiness. But, asis the nature of things of thisworld, happiness in this Iron-Aged or Kaliyugi world is afleeting phenomenon. Itvanishes as quickly ascamphor and is moth-eatentoo.

This is, however, not todeny that happiness is the

EVER-HAPPY GREETINGS ANDHAPPINESS UNDER A MICROSCOPE

birthright of every soul, buthave we had that birth byvirtue of which it becomes ourright? Man’s physical birth, when it took place, had anaccompaniment of pain and, asthe saying goes, every ‘normal’child in this world is bornweeping and weeping, we allknow, is the very antithesis ofhappiness.

Furthermore, when man isfully grown, decay sets in and, ultimately, man dies, leavingmany of those friends weepingwho wished him a ‘HappyNew Year’. In fact, one’s fatherand mother to whom one isborn as a child are mortal andcannot bless the child withever-lasting happiness byvirtue of his birth to them asthey bless him with somephysical property.

Ever-happy Greetings

It is God alone who is

eternally and perfect lypeaceful and who has themight to ward off everythingthat gives sufferings. If oneis ‘born to Him’ then onlycan one have ever-lastingpeace and happiness. So,one has to be ‘spiritually re-born’ to God as one’sMother-Father, to deserveand inherit the Property(qualities) of God and tohave from Him the birthrightof Puri ty, Peace andProsperity in the Golden-Age or Satyugi New World. It is for such an ever-happy,ever-healthy, ever-holy newlife for 2500 years that wegreet one and all on the eveof the New Year.

Such a world is being re-established and is in themaking. So, from this pointof view, God is wishing youall ‘A Very Happy New Yearas well as Happy NewGolden Age World’.

I was hardly 7 years old, when I was sent to theboarding school opened

by Brahma Baba during 1937for giving formal education tothe children who came toBrahma Baba when ShivBaba descended on him. There were nearly 400 peoplein the spiritual gathering, majority of them beingwomen. There were about 60children who had come withtheir mothers or parents tomeet Baba and remainedthere. There were differentstandards for the childrenaccording to their age. DadiPrakashmani, DadiChandramani, DadiShantamani, Dadi Mithu andDadi Kala were the teachers. Each of them was made incharge of 10 children.

Brahma Baba did notexpose us to the outside world. We did not come in contactwith anybody else. We cameto Karachi during 1938. We

were given education onworldly knowledge andspiritual subjects, while, wewere also assigned differentduties, like pressing clothes, cleaning vessels, cars andbuses, cooking, security, constructing huts, preparingcow dung balls mixing withcharcoal etc. Baba andMamma used to guide us inattending to these duties. Babaalso used to take us to thebeach and would ask us to sitin meditation. When we wereassigned with security duty, wewere often told that we werethe embodiment of power. Iliked Godly Knowledge andGodly Services very much. Ihad come to accept Baba as myreal mother and father. Therefore, I had no confusion. When Shiv Baba observed mylife, He named me ‘Sarlamani’i.e. ‘Jewel of Simplicity’.

Unique Specialities ofBrahma Baba

Baba used to do everything

from cleaning vessels togiving a speech and that set atrend for all of us. He lovedeverybody alike, selflesslyand nursed us with pure love.Baba was a unique wellwisher, and a carefreeemperor, who liked solitudewhile he was himself asocialite earlier. He wouldremind us that we are all ina race but not competingagainst each other. He wasagainst tel l ing l ies .Similarly, Baba wasparticular that Godly Codeof Conduct must be strictlyfollowed. He was againstfamiliarity, i .e. physical

attract ion towards anyperson. Baba taught us tolook at Shiv Baba only andfollow His directions. Hetaught us that everythingbelongs to Shiv Baba.

My effort-makingAs Brahma Baba felt

himself as an instrument ofGod, I also did the same thing.I placed my life at the disposalof God who could use me inany way He wanted. Besides,I focused my attention on Godfor self transformation so asget rid of my own weaknesses.Baba taught us never tocriticise anyone or to make anycomments about others. I alsofollowed him and felt thatwherever I’m, I’m a GodlyStudent and a Godly Servant. It’s because of his teachingsthat I have never developedany attachment for anyparticular place. I feel that allkinds of service connectedwith the Yagya are GodlyServices. It is the mentalattitude with which we arerendering Godly Service thatcounts. His divine love andsustenance has made mefollow directions of BapDadavery sincerely. One day whenBaba came to the class, hefound that there was nobodyat the security post. He lookedat all those who were sittingin the class and then directedme to go to the security post. I

felt that it was an honourshowered by Baba. Even nowI cherish those moments.Subsequently, Baba haddirected me to attend tovarious services at differentpoints of time.

After shifting to Mount Abu,the test paper for the inmatesstarted. Almost 50% of us fellsick due to change in climateconditions. I was directed byBaba to look after those whowere unwell. I thus became anurse. During night time,Baba used to visit the patientsand give powerful drishti –vibrations. Then those whowere undergoing severe painwould get relief. I did not feeleven a pinch of hardshipduring those trying times. Ifelt that it was easy for us tomake intense effort since Babawas our role model. I grew upwith the institution and havebeen a witness to the changesin the lives of millions ofpeople and also on worldsituations. I feel that those, who do not follow Baba’sdirections, will repent one daywhen Baba’s directions startmaterialising.

Qualities of Baba – MyInspirations

1. Baba has made mesynonym with my name, i.e.very flexible and mouldable.Ever since I became Baba’schild, I can adjust myself

with anybody and anysituation.2. I always try to be a

pleasant person with asmiling face just like BrahmaBaba. As he neverdiscriminated between richand poor, educated anduneducated, highly placed orotherwise, I too follow hisfootsteps.3. Baba has filled us with

the resolves of Godlyservice. He promotedeverybody in his/her ownway to progress in spirituallife, which I also keep trying.

4. The humility andsimplicity of Brahma Babaare incomparable. Babanever required anyformalities, nor did he ask forany kind of protocolfacilities.5. Taking example from his

exemplary life, I also takecomplete interest in solitudeand meditation, thus I stayingin Godly remembrance. Thishelps those in my contact toexperience a state of silence.6. Baba also taught us never

to discuss anyone’sweaknesses. Therefore, Ihold no ill will towardsanybody.7. Last but not the least, he

always inspired us to befriendly at all times, extending solace and succourto one and all.

I feel myself a multimillionfortunate soul to havereceived and experienced

the divine sustenance ofBrahma Baba, the corporealmedium of Incorporeal GodShiva. Whenever I think aboutthe life of Brahma Baba, I feelthat in every moment andevery breath, he just bestowedand bestowed to one and all, and, thus, performed anunparalleled world service.Whoever came in contact withhim, he gave his/her thefragrance of sandal- like lifeof himself and, thus, turnedthem from stone to platinum. He was not only a great soulhimself but also let the othersexperience the samegreatness.

An Embodiment ofVirtues

It was only such divinity, greatness, purity andexcellence of his personalitythat pulled souls magneticallytowards the one, the SupremeSoul. When the souls, who hadgot tired of the old habits of

superstition, idol-worship,worship of guru, tendency ofselfishness etc. adopted in thepath of devotion, wouldreceive the logical knowledgeof Soul, the Supreme Soul, allthe three aspects of time, threeworlds, Karma Philosophy etc.through the medium of Baba, then, they would instantly getattracted towards this Godlyknowledge. This was thewonder of Incorporeal GodShiva, i.e. Shiv Baba’swonderful education only thatBrahma Baba was neverattached to any soul, butwould get other’s mind andintellect connected to ShivBaba and, thus, showed him/her the way of attainingliberation and fruition from thelatter only. Like any faithfuland loyal wife, who alwaysremains engrossed in theremembrance of one only;Brahma Baba, too, whileperforming every action andfulfilling every duty, would getimmersed in love andremembrance of one Shiv

Baba only and, would keepinspiring the children toremain in such an un-adulterous remembrance.Baba’s Unique Personality

and Sweet TeachingsWhen I came to Madhuban

(Pandav Bhawan) for the firsttime, I saw a veryoverwhelming scene that at theage of 80, Baba was playingBadminton with Dada VishwaRatan in the Cricket ground. Iwas amazed to see the face ofBaba shining with freshnessof spirituality and wanted tocapture it in my camera so asto keep it with myself foreveras fond memory, but before Icould click the camera, Babaspoke, “Child, this camera willnot be able to take the photoof Shiv Baba (as He isincorporeal). This body ismortal; so what is theadvantage of taking the photoof it?” In other words, sweetand lovely Baba was notinterested in the photos ofbody. He always taught, “Weshould always remain beyondthe body and this physical

world, and should rememberthe one God Shiva, who isHimself bodiless and getimmersed only in thecontemplation of Hisqualities.” Whether it is thebody of an ordinary being orof a great soul, one cannot getimperishable attainment fromthe remembrance thereof, as itis mortal. We always learntfrom his life that the true andimperishable earning ispossible only through theremembrance of One—trueand imperishable Godfather. This is true that picture ofsomeone reminds us of hischaracter, but we can get thepower to inculcate the sameinto our life only when wepractise being a bodiless souland get our mind and intellectconnected to Incorporeal GodShiva.

Baba had neither thetemptation of respect nameand fame, nor had any otherdesire. ‘We have attained whatwe had to; there is nothingmore to be attained now’, thissong kept on playingcontinuously in his mind. Hewas a living example ofsimplicity and renunciation.Once when he came to Patiala(Punjab), we tried to felicitatehim with the garland offlowers, but he refused toaccept them saying that as the

body was impure, it didn’tdeserve them. The garlandshould be presented toMateshwari Saraswati instead,as she was celibate. Thus, keeping himself as backbone,he kept Mateshwari at theforefront in every matter;firstin giving and last in receivingwas the main mantra of hislife.

Bodiless or soul-consciousstate had become easy andnatural for Brahma Baba. Heused to say, “Child, the truefriendship lies in remindingone-another of soul andSupreme Soul.” If on somespecial occasion, any B.K.brother or sister would recitea song or poem, Baba wouldlisten to the same as long as itwas in the praise of Shiv Baba. However, as soon as there wasany praise of Brahma Baba, hewould immediately ask themto stop it and would say,“Child, there is glory of oneShiv Baba only; so, rememberHim alone because I alsoremember only Him.”

Brahma Baba would firstgive the visitors a powerfulspiritual gaze, i.e. drishti, andthen would ask them, “Child, whom are you meeting? Doyou recognise Him? Do youremember that I’m a soul?Child, meet Shiv Baba throughthis body (Brahma’s body) as

He has incarnated into thisbody. If you take the lap ofBrahma without rememberingShiv Baba, it will be a sin.”Thus, he would always beengaged in revealing the nameof Shiv Baba and giving othersHis introduction.Ever-Engrossed in Godly

RemembranceHe would always inspire

one and all to remember theresident of Incorporeal World– point of light IncorporealGod Shiva. Like a true lover, whose mind and eyes alwaysget immersed in the thoughtsof his beloved; Brahma Baba, too, would never get separatedfrom the remembrance of ShivBaba, even for a moment.

Brahma Baba would alwayssay, “Child, always emerge thescene of Incorporeal World inone eye and the forthcomingGolden Aged World, i.e.Paradise, in the other. Thisbody is about to vanish. Whileseeing this perishable body, remain devoid of itsconsciousness. This body isborn out of Sex-Lust; it is likean old shoe; therefore, neverever have attachment with it.If you have attachment with it,you will lose your fortune ofGod Fatherly birthright ofParadise.” Hence, we should

I would like to narrate anamazing incident, whichtook place recently in my

life and made a spurt in mybelief and faith in God Shiva,i.e. Shiv Baba.

Recently, I went on acampaign to Sundarvan as partof ‘Youth Cycle Yatra forglorious Bharat’ initiated bythe Youth Wing of BrahmaKumaris. During the course ofthe Yatra, we had to moveextensively on cycle for manykilometres and interact withnumerous people. I sawclosely as how life of peopleis so distressed and depressedthese days. They have lost allhope and enthusiasm in life.We made our best efforts tohelp people regain their hopein life and have faith in Babaso as to attain peace of mindthrough values such as Purity,Peace, Love, Compassion etc.

As we had to toil hardmoving on cycle the entireday, we used to get very tiredand all our energy seemed tobe drained out at the end of theday. But with the power ofBaba, we used to start afresh

each day. On one of these days,in Baruipur, I was extremelytired at the end of the day andjust sat at a place without beingaware of my belongings.Tiredness seemed to havetaken a toll on me that day. Wewent to Canning from thereand I suddenly noticed that Ihad left my bag with all thevaluables like money, mobilephone, bank debit cards etc. atsome place. I was in a fix onhow to get them back. I rushedback to the earlier place in notime and enquired about thebag at the stalls and shops onour way. All my efforts wentin vain, so I returned toCanning and gave up any hopeof getting my valuables back.I wondered why such anincident happened to me whenI was part of such a noblecause. I questioned Baba whyHe didn’t come to my rescuefor my good deeds and divinefaith in Him. With the same

thoughts, I kept oncontemplating the entire nightand was very sad and felt likecrying as I had no money tocarry on further. The nextmorning, I got up early andinstantly decided to go back insearch of my bag once again. Iwent to the earlier place againand to my immense surprise, Ifound the bag at a shop run byan old woman. I asked for thebag and found all mybelongings intact in it as I hadkept. To my further surprise, Ihadn’t lost a single penny. Thewoman told me that her shopwas shut for lunch theprevious day when I went insearch of my bag. Her son hadfound the bag on the roadsideand had kept it with her. I wasstunned to see that in today’sgreedy world nothing wasmissing from the bag. Iwondered who came to myrescue and instantly realizedit was Baba Himself. Ithanked the old woman andBaba sincerely from the coreof my heart.

The incident had a greatimpact in strengthening myfaith and belief in Baba,“Baba helps those who helpthemselves and others”.

Brahma Baba, theepitome of peace, love, compassion,

devotion, dedication, purity, perseverance, royalty andausterity, has set a perfectparadigm for the BrahmaKumaris and Brahma Kumarsto proceed tirelessly on thepath of perfection. The worldmay wonder how a mortalbeing on this earth, a flesh andblood, could elevate himself tothe angelic and ‘Karmateet’state, how could he shed offhuman flaws and frailties. Hepossessed exceptional, unusual attributes that is whythe Almighty chose him as Hismedium to carry out Hisdivine plans to lay thefoundation of Satyug bypreparing a hidden salvationarmy. Let us sum up thepredominant characteristics ofBrahma Baba which proved tobe the credentials to transformDada Lekhraj, a diamondmerchant into Brahma Baba,an ‘Aloukik’ father to the hugeprogeny of the Brahmins theworld over, the would bedeities of the Satyug.

EIGHT JEWELS OFBRAHMA BABA’S

PERSONALITY

SOUL-CONSCIOUSWhen GOD, our beloved

Shiv Baba, descended onBrahma Baba’s soul, the veryfirst lesson that He taught himwas to always remain in soulconsciousness. But it is easysaid than done. Having livedsixty three lives in body-consciousness, it is so fixedlyengraved in human psychethat it is not easy to get it donein one day only but BrahmaBaba, like Arjun in Geeta, who assured Krishna I willabide by you, followed eachstricture laid down by ShivBaba in full obeisance andfilled diaries after diaries inwriting down repeatedlyagainst the name of eachperson in his life--I am a soul,Yashoda is a soul, Narayan isa soul, so on and so forth sothat by practising again andagain, the old impressionsmight be eliminated from hismind and new ones could becreated and ultimatelysucceeded like success to beoblivious of body andconscious of soul and thuswon the attribute ‘Nirvikari’.

ABSOLUTEDEDICATION

When Shiv Baba showedBrahma Baba the glimpses ofworld destruction and also there-creation of new era, theGolden Age, he got astoundedbut the Almighty explained tohim the greater cause of worldtransformation and thusgradually the point wasbrought home to him. ShivBaba elaborated the dutiesentrusted to him to instrumentthe process of world-renewaland that was the day whenBrahma Baba surrenderedhimself to the will of GOD byensuring himself physically, mentally and also monetarilyand founded ‘Om Mandli’which later on grew into‘Prajapita Brahma KumariIshwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya’.He was the man who had ahappy family, a prosperousbusiness and a well recognisedsocial life and was hithertoliving a luxurious life amidstalmost a palatial comforts butthe moment he was convincedthat it was GOD who wasdemanding something fromhim, he took no time to divesthimself of all these materialbondages as easily as the dustfrom the clothes with one jerkonly. He wound up his lavishbusiness, and not only he buthis whole family alsorenounced the luxurious lifeand devoted themselves to the

cause of God.EMBODIMENT OFPARENTAL LOVE

The rarest of the rareadornments of Brahma Baba’spersonality is his boundless, spontaneous love for all.Initially, there were almostthree hundred and fiftyaspirants comprising young, old and children and some ofthem are, by God’s grace, aliveeven today to oblige us withtheir spiritual guidance andprotection. I have heard manyof them giving quite emotionalaccount of their memoirswhich is simplyoverwhelming. I carefullynoticed one common threadrunning through their accounti.e., the unforgettable, unfathomable love andaffection that Baba showeredon them unconditionallywithout any discrimination.Recently on ‘Peace of Mindchannel’, I heard respectedB.K. Brother Brij Mohan whonot only once or twice butseveral times during hislecture was moved to tearswhile relating his experienceswith Brahma Baba. I am notvery old in this mission, hencedid not know much aboutBrahma Baba but afterlistening to the Dadis and otherBK brothers and sisters aboutheart-moving emotionalreminiscences, I have also

developed fondness for Baba.I am a mother but I do feel thatthe pious love that Babaimparted to all was muchabove the sort of love providedby any parent on this earth.Whosoever visited him, hisspontaneous reaction was“Aao bachche” and embracedthem and they immediatelyunderwent a super-sensuousexperience which they couldnever forget. Such was theimpact of Baba’s divine touch. That is why he was rightlycalled by Shiv Baba, ‘BadiMaa’ (a senior mother). Hewas really a marvellous blendof motherly and fatherly love.It is the gravitational love thatthe Dadis and other BKsreceived from Brahma Babathat has kept them glued to thismission inseparably and theyare busy day-in and day-out todo every bit as good aspossible to fulfil the objectiveof the mission.

BEGGARY PARTBaba, a millionaire, spent

each penny of his huge empireon this mission and ran itsmoothly for almost 14 yearsbut no treasure on this earth isimperishable if you keep onspending it and the day arrivedwhen there was left nothingwhile Baba had theresponsibility to look after 350spiritual children but thecreditable thing about Baba

was that his faith in Shiv Babawas not shaken even in suchhard and testing times. It ishard to imagine that this phasewas so painful that sometimesnot even a single grain was leftto offer to Shiv Baba as ‘bhog’but look at the rock-like faithof Brahma Baba. Whensomeone informed Baba aboutit, he was perturbed not theleast, rather solaced them towait till 10 a.m. and to ourgreat surprise at 10 a.m. thepostman would come with themoney order which was spentto buy the basic needful itemsand the demand of thesituation was met. Along withothers, Baba’s familymembers, who were used toroyal life so far were alsoamong them passing throughthese ordeals but Baba, beforeembarking on this spiritualjourney, had submitted himselfto the will of Shiv Baba, takingfor granted that it was ShivBaba’s mission and he wasonly an instrument. Anyway, this phase also passed awaysuccessfully, proving BrahmaBaba victorious and a livingexample of ‘Befikr Badshah’.

A KARMA YOGIBrahma Baba was a karma

yogi in the true spirit of theterm. He was a livingparadigm of ‘work is worship’by doing even the menialdomestic chores of the yagya

Page 22: DADIJI’S AUSPICIOUS CONTENTS

22 The World Renewal, January 2014

with dignity. No work wasinferior for him and thustaught the children that anywork, done in theremembrance of Shiv Baba, becomes a karma yoga. He didnot mind even brooming orwashing dishes. Imaginesomeone of Baba’s staturecondescending to such choreswhich are thought usually low.Yagya was above all for himand he sacrificed his all in theservice of the yagya like RishiDadhichi who offered even hisbones for a great cause. Heperformed each of his dutiesreligiously till the lastmoments of his life. Even onthe night of 18th Jan. 1969, heconducted Murli class, badegoodbye to the children andwent into the room and to theshock of all breathed his last.

A TAPASVIBrahma Baba who once liveda royal life, underwent austerediscipline to be a genuine yogi.Initially the ‘Amrit vela’ towake up at 4’0 clock formeditation was not practised. One day Baba sent theSandeshi to ‘vatan.’ Sheinformed Baba that she sawBrahma Baba in ‘SukshmaVatan’ but he was much moreradiant than the real Baba. From that day onwards, Babastarted getting up at 4 a.m. tosit for mediation regularly. After sometime, Baba again

sent her to vatan and againafter the trance, she informedhim that though there was notmuch difference yet the subtleBaba in the Sukshma vatanwas more radiant. Now, Babatook it as motivator and startedmeditation from 2:30 a.m. andwent on refining himself moreand more and ultimatelyachieved karmateet avasthai.e., contained and restrained, modified and refined himselfso much that he transcendedthe bondage of Karmic lawand became a virtual angel.

NIRHANKARI(EGOLESS)

Baba lived the attribute‘Nirhankari’, absolutehumbleness, modesty andgeniality. He was a perfectexample of selflessness anddid not believe in centralisingpowers. He always took careto credit achievement to thechildren instead of takingpride in himself. Todaymasters of different fields fromall over the world visitPrajapita Brahma KumariIswariya Vishwavidyalaya andget wonderstruck to see themanagement, theadministration here which isthe outcome of 100%dedication of Baba’s children, working so devotedly indifferent capacities with thepositive attitude that no workis high or low rather it is the

mentality, the belief systemwhich makes something highor low. On 18th January 1969,he held the hand of DadiPrakashmani in his hands, asif handing over hisresponsibilities to her, andheaved last breath of eternalpeace

NASHTOMOHA(DETACHED ANDDISPASSIONATE)

Baba was a wonderful andamazing blend of love anddetachment. He loved one andall unconditionally and caredfor them more than a parentcan, yet he was untouched byattachment with anyone oranything, but this did nothappen overnight. Hepractised it with perseveranceand eventually reached thekarmateet stage. He strictlyfollowed Shiv Baba’s warning‘Ant-mati so gati’ i.e., a manis bound to get the thing or theperson, his mind is stuck inwhile dying. Baba’s mind was100% detached from theworld. The only thing thatlingered in his mind was ShivBaba and the inheritance.

Let us follow Brahma Babain order to be worthy of ourentitlement to the kingdom ofheaven. Also give up the slothand accelerate our efforts topurify ourselves and oursurroundings and glorify thesaying ‘The Son shows theFather’.

Barack Obama, thePresident of a war-weary America,

recently said it is better we tryfor friendly neighbours ratherthan fighting wars in theMiddle East. He was onlyrepeating the age-old wisdomthat a friendly neighbour is abetter security than a costly waror a sophisticated war-machinery.

What he said means evenmore. It has something to dowith the purpose of life–manlearns from his ownexperiences or from that ofothers. Why should a studentlearn the folly of diversionthrough his own experienceswhen he can see the same in theexperiences of millions offormer students who regretnow? Again, look for somemore experiences with regardto our habits! When moderationis adopted in sleeping, eating, working, entertainment andthinking, one’s body respondspleasantly otherwise body’svital organs malfunction, andmay even simply shut down! All these go to show that bodyis designed to serve a purpose.

PURPOSE OF LIFE–YOU CAN FIND

OUT YOURSELF!

We can drive it towards comfortor calamity—it all depends onthe choices we make.

Now turn to experiences withregard to subtle aspects of ourexistence! There are threethings – AWARENESS,CREATIVITY and RELA-TIONSHIP – that we all havein common. In other words, weare aware of ourselves andothers; have creativity toproduce thoughts, ideas, concepts and feelings and canexpress them; and haverelationships, or the exchangeof energy of love with others.Hence the purpose of our life isnothing more than living lifeitself. One can better enjoy hislife if he uses the above wisely. We are AWARE of ourselvesand others, but this awarenessis incomplete if we are notaware of our real self and ourreal spiritual Father. Life gets areal meaning when we know –‘who we really are’ and ‘whowe belong to’.

As we see ourselves as souls,it is easy to relate to one Father– the Supreme Soul, God Shiva. No wonder the most importantsentence in the Bible is: “Don’t

call anyone on earth ‘Father,’because you have only OneFather, the One in heaven.”(Mathew 23:9) When you livein awareness that God is yourreal Father and all others as Hischildren hence our brothers, you will have pure motive inyour dealing with others, theresult of which is peace andcontentment. See what a shiftin attitude is brought forth—PURITY, PEACE andCONTENTMENT—whichwere already inherent in yourswa (soul).

History, religions and epicsall show that as man loses self-awareness or forgets that he isswa (soul) and goesmaterialistic, thinking that he isthis body, he gets influenced byvices. This makes him feelseparated from his innate self.He views his desires moreimportant than those of others;the more he concentrates on hisdesire, the stronger it becomesand it is called lust. Lust, ifobstructed, turns into anger;and if fulfilled, it becomesgreed. See what a shift inattitude brought forth –“LUST,ANGER and GREED” whichare typical of nar (man), hencecalled “three gates of nark(hell). (Gita 16:21)

Depending upon the degreeof forgetfulness, people becomemore and more selfish[egoistic], bringing in more andmore lust, anger, greed, and

attachment, all of which furtherreinforce one’s ego. This is thetime when we should revert towisdom, to our originalnature—purity, peace andcontentment–the qualities ofthe souls. Today, as wehumans face the consequencesof our imperfections, it is theSupreme who has to interveneand help us in our soul-recovery. This recovery andtransformation process ishappening right now.

However, it began in the year1936, when the first half of the20th century showedunmistakably the beginning ofpeak of selfishness and moraldecline. This is when theHeavenly Father turned Hisattention on the earth; He sawa spiritual magnet, who wasexhibiting a GREAT MIND,treating God as our HeavenlyFather and all human beings asHis children. God blessed him

with a vision of the future—showed him how this Age ofNIGHT will end with civilwars, world wars, and naturalcalamities, and how a NewWorld (DAY) will begin. Godrenamed him, for his character,Brahma (meaning GREATMIND), and made him aninstrument to spread this newsto everyone on the earth. Thosewho followed him as hisfigurative children are calledBrahma Kumaris and BrahmaKumars. In due course, Godgave more revelations, whichshowed that history wouldrepeat itself, every Kalpa(cycle of 5000 years)—comprising a DAY [of 2500years] and a NIGHT [of 2500years], which will be followedby similar cycles of DAY andNIGHT into indefinite future,an idea that is vaguely found inthe Bible also. (CompareProverbs 4:18, 19; Ecclesiastes

1:4, 9; 3:15).Put it simply, history is a

drama of two collectivecharacters: FREE-WILL andDESTINY. Once an action isCHOSEN, its result isdetermined. No action iswithout its effect; and no effectwithout a cause whether thecause is visible /perceptible ornot. A cause always precedesthe effect. Hence when youchoose to act in a certain way,you are, in effect, choosing theappropriate results. Once anaction is chosen, appropriatedestiny follows. If you chooseto live in the Golden Age calledDAY, you can—you just needto do the works of the DAY.What does that involve? AN INSPIRATIONAL STORYThere was once an earnest gardener who loved his work and his produce. One day he was

walking through his delightful garden and happened to notice a weed. The gardener wasparticularly tired so he decided to leave it. The next day he had to leave to visit his relatives inanother country for two weeks. When he came back, the backyard was covered in weeds and allhis produce was dead!

Likewise, if we allow just one bad thought in our head and fail to remove it, it will sprout andinstead of having to pick one weed, we will have too much to control. If we destroy our negativethoughts, by allowing positive ones to grow, they will display in our personality like a beautifulgarden. That’s the power of positive thought. We are what our thoughts are. We should alwaysentertain only good and positive thoughts in our mind and never give way for anything negative!Be alert and conscious of your thoughts and pick out the weeds of your negative thoughtsconsciously and quickly, at the right moment.

The World Is ConsumedIn Chasing And Catching

10 Minutes HappinessIt truly is a crazy world we

find ourselves living in withmany unhappy, lonely, disturbed people around. Theyall have one thing very muchin common, and that goes forboth the abnormal and ultra-normal in life; like thescientists, doctors, politiciansand religious people, and thatis they all strive and search fortrue and lasting peace andhappiness. After all, whatgood is the happiness that lastsonly for 10 minutes when youthen spend the rest of the 23hours and 50 minutes in yourlife in complete sorrow, misery or utter boredom? Is itwise to chase after 10 minuteshappiness? In their chasingand desires of happiness, theybecome totally engrossed insuffering misery for most ofthe day. Our searching forpeace is like letting a dog outfor a walk in the park for 10

minutes, only to be followedby 23 hours 50 minutes spentlater under the stairs in the darkbarking like mad at nothingwaiting to be let out again.

(World)? All are in search of peace

and happiness but do not knowthe method to achieve them.So they wander round slowlygetting more confused, unhappy and lonely each day.In people’s search they onlywalk forever further awayfrom the happiness they sodesperately crave for.

The Only Shoes In TheShoe Shop Of Heaven –

Are The Shoes OfHappiness And Peace.Peace and happiness were

once the only shoes peopleknew and which they woreevery day without fail. Therewere no other shoes availableor ever made in the world otherthan these beautiful shoes of

comfort that everyone wore.Everyone went about theirlives in a state of peacewearing such happy shoes.Slowly these shoes were wornout and so they had toeventually change them forshoes that caused them to feelunhappy and uncomfortable.Others took off their happyshoes and later could not findthem to put them on again. They had lost theircomfortable shoes and thenhad to put on the nearest shoesto hand which were shoes thatmade them feel three feet talland as if they had glass inthem. These were the newshoes of falsehood that startedto be worn thousands of yearsago and are still worn todayand are most fashionable witheveryone.

Many others took off theirshoes and then put on someoneelse’s (influenced) shoes, almost by accident. At first allthese different shoes(thoughts, ways, habits) just

felt rather tight and strange yetslowly became more and moreuncomfortable until eventuallythey became crippling to wear. This discomfort makes us feeland do one thing, which thenlater makes us have to doanother thing, both of whichare the wrong things.

Wearing Odd ShoesMakes You Odd (Sad). We start off with a thought,

a notion, an idea, a directionand aim, but due to wearingthese shoes which numbs ourawareness and leaves falsefootprints, we start to veer offcourse and end up going allover the place and far awayfrom where we originally wanted to go. This is whathappens when we follow otherpeople. Some have managedto keep one of their originalshoes on and have putsomeone else’s shoe (thoughts, ideas) on their other foot. Forthis, they end up paying byhaving to continually walkround in circles.

Shoes Without A Sole(Soul) Make For Painful

Walking.Once we have swapped our

shoes of comfort and peace fora different pair (bodyconsciousness), we can easilyhead in the wrong directionand feel bad in the process. Our original shoes of truth

only knew of one direction towalk, and that was forward; asthose being the shoes of truth, you wouldn’t expect them togo backwards. Once you haveput on your plastic shoes offalsehood, then you can end upanywhere as these shoessimply do not know where togo. These shoes without a sole(soul) also do not know wherethey came from or who madethem. These delicate shoeseasily wear out and let inwater. Shoes of truth are ‘fakeproof’ whilst fake shoes are‘truth proof ’. Fake shoescannot, however hard they try,and where they look, findtruth, experience truth, knowor comprehend truth.Everyone wears such bodyconscious shoes today thatmake them totally truth-proof.It is easy to lose your waywearing false shoes and getlost. False shoes pinch you atevery step and can in time, make you a cripple. Ignoranceand falsehood are by far thebiggest crippling factorswithin life that causes ill-health.

The Banana Skin ofKarma (Hip, Trip And

Double Shock). Some may feel it was

extremely unlucky that theyfell on a banana skin and broketheir arm, but it was his/her

karma that placed it there, andas you create your own karma, you may well say that youplaced the banana skin(created the cause) thereyourself. It was also yourkarma that stopped you fromseeing it on the floor; such arethe intricacies and depths ofkarma’s workings. You canonly ever blame yourself forwhat happens to you in life;even when someone drops abox on your foot and breaksit, or hands you a box with amillion pounds in it.

It’s Not Possible To FallDown A Mountain Slowly.

Everyone’s poor healthstarts off from his/her poorthoughts, and our thoughtsstart off and are triggered andinfluenced from our awarenessfrom what we see about us.Our awareness comes to usand is developed mainly fromwhat we see, and whateveryone sees and thinks todayis that they are a body. Mostpeople’s awareness andexperience of the soul isalmost nil. Everything pooryou have in life initially startedfrom your poor awareness andunderstanding of who you are.If you get ‘who you are’wrong, then everythingthereafter in your life will alsobe wrong. Once you havestarted ‘falling down’ the snow

covered mountain of ‘Seeingand Thinking Wrongly, anything can happen – and ata great speed. In life, on thisslippery mountain, anythingcan happen, and it will, without warning. As the sundoes not tell you it is goingbehind a cloud, so trouble willnot forewarn you that it iscoming but will arriveunannounced into your life. Can You Hide From The

Sun?Just as no one can hide from

the sun, so no one is everexempt and able to hide fromtrouble when it arrives. Onlythe person clever enough tohide from the sun all his/herlife will be able to hide fromthe world’s present andimpending troubles that layahead waiting to pounce. Noone has such a wise head as tobe able to avoid these futureworld troubles and events.Even if your ‘head andwisdom’ is the size of a familycar, you cannot escape theeffects soon to be unleashed inthe world. It would not matterif you were Einstein, Buddha,Lennin or are now super rich, super poor or a Guru with amillion followers, no one willbe immune to the storms thatare coming to hit this world;just as no one can escape therain, seagull or dog mess, or

noise and feeling hungry. Orhave you reached such a highstate of mind that you can gobeyond the feeling of direthirst? The Mountain Of ‘SettlingKarma’ Is Very High AndVery Slippery And Very

Dangerous. Some will slip on a banana

skin and hurt their knee andsome will slip and fall rightfrom the top of this mountain(be crippled or die) of life allthe way to its bottom. You canonly imagine the result andstate of those who fall downsuch a huge and rockymountain. They would nothave the power, knowledge orwisdom to stop falling norwould there be the time forthem to somehow stop andenjoy themselves whilstfalling down such a mountain.Few have learnt in life to trulyenjoy it or make the time andhave the wisdom to enjoy thepleasures of a good snowballfight or in building asnowman. After all, this is themountain called ‘SettlingKarma’ with a peak of‘wrongdoings’ and slopescalled ‘suffering’ and basecamp called ‘settled’; so whatone can expect, other than towitness people’s endlesssuffering in life as he/she fallshelplessly down its slopes.

When The Alarm ClockOf Karma Goes Off, It IsThen The Time To Start

Suffering.We have wound up the

Alarm clock of karma with ourbad actions throughout ourmany lives, so we must not besurprised when eventually thisalarm clock goes off and givesus a shock and causes usendless daily alarm and pain.We do wrongdoings at the startof life (at the top of themountain) and then suffer allthe way down due to ouractions. At the end of our manylives, having suffered so much, after having fallen all the waydown life’s unforgivingmountain to its base, most endup either dead or crying inmuch pain. This is not amountain of smiling butcrying. The plastic shoes (bodyconsciousness) worn by mostdo not offer any grip at all andare in fact, the main cause forpeople slipping. The boots ofwisdom although look boringand are not really fashionableon this mountain, do have atremendous grip and can saveyour life. Only those who wearthese boots can save their ownlife and walk in happiness: therest of humanity will slidedown in sheer terror.

28 The World Renewal, January 2014

I was born in a religiousfamily. In my childhood, Iwas an ardent devotee of

Lord Jagannath as well as ShriKrishna. My father was anarrator of Hindu scriptures,i.e., Gita and Bhagwat;therefore, I would also go withhim to listen to Geeta. As Icome from a Brahmin family, there would be regular readingof Bhagwat in our home. When I had just learnt ourOdiya letters in the 1ststandard, my mother asked meto read scriptures of SriKrishna Leela and would givean incentive of 5 paisa per dayon reading it.

When I was in 12th class in1991, I had heard aboutBrahma KumarisOrganisation run by whitesaree-clad sisters. However, due to my busy schedule, itslipped from my attention. In1996, I came to New Delhi andjoined a Company. One day, while returning from myoffice, I came across a BrahmaKumaris Centre, which

AN EXPERIENCE –LOUKIK TO ALOUKIK

SPIRITUAL LIFE

immediately caught myattention. I joined the 7-DayRajyoga Course there. In thechapter – ‘Three worlds’ andThree Deities, it was explainedin detail about Brahma – thespiritual significance of watervessel (kamandalu), about hisfour faces and the beard. Thevessel refers to the deepknowledge, which Godteaches us through him; thefour faces signify that he hasthe knowledge of all four agesand his beard connotes his vastexperience of devotional pathand divine life. From the firstday, it was made clear to methat the body is the costume ofthe soul. But no one told methat our Father, The SupremeSoul has already descended onthe earth and has beenbestowing knowledge to us tobecome pure. That is why I didnot develop much interest inreading Murli, even though Iused to go to the centreregularly and listened to Murliwhether I understood it or not.

Thus, I passed the first few

years of my spiritual life.Sometime later I got shifted toSurya Nagar, Vivek Vihar. Thesister-in-charge explained tome how Bapdada, i.e.Incorporeal God Shiva withAngel Brahma Babareincarnates through thechariot of Dadi Gulzar inMadhuban, i.e. in theInternational headquarters ofthe B.K. Organisation atMount Abu. She invited me toaccompany her to Madhuban.I got ready to go thereimmediately. There, I got thegolden chance to experiencesuch a wonderful meeting withGod Himself. When we wereseated in the Diamond Hall, before the arrival of theChariot of God, Dadi Gulzar, our sister asked me to receiveDrishti from BapDada insubtle and to surrender myweaknesses to Him.

Meeting BapDada changedme completely and I startedtaking keen interest in Murli. Also, whatever doubts orquestions crept up in my mind, the same were clarified in the

next Murlis.Sometimes, certain doubts

did creep in my mind –whetherthe Supreme Soul reallydescends through the mediumof Dadi Gulzar. However, these questions were also gotsorted out automatically. In thepast also, I had heard aboutcertain instances when evilsouls entered others’ body. So,if evil and ordinary souls canenter a body, why cannot theAlmighty Authority, the Fatherof all souls, descend on thisearth through a humanmedium and that too for adivine and sublime service?

Soon, the spiritualsignificance of Janmashtami,Ram Navami, Holi, ShivJayanti, Raksha Bandhan,Dussehara and many otherIndian festivals also becameclear to me through Baba’sMurlis. Besides, Shiv Babaalso clarified the significanceof many mythological storiesexplained in variousscriptures.

There came a period of trialfrom my lokik family.Actually, I was the only personin our family following thepath of Rajyoga. My father isa retired High School HeadMaster and lives in our nativevillage in Odisha. One of myelder sisters has beenfollowing Maharshi Mahesh

Yogi’s TranscendentalMeditation and she isunmarried. So when I alsodecided not to marry, myfather became very angry. Heeven regretted giving us goodeducation. On the other hand,my sister tried to convince methat celibate life is not so easy, for a woman faces a lot ofproblems in male dominatedsociety. My father explainedthe social criticism that he hadbeen facing in the village. Hewas being blamed for hisinability to find suitable matchfor his daughters.

But I replied in the typicallanguage of the Gita that eventhough he gave birth to us butour fortune would bedetermined by us. My motheralso told him that he shouldallow me to follow the way Ihad chosen. Somehow, myfather also realized that heshould not force me to followthe life as per his will. Thus,he allowed me to follow thisspiritual path.

I was working with NationalInsurance Company Limitedas an insurance advisor whenI met Bro. Ranjit Singh Fuliyawho inspired me to harness mywriting skills. I knew Odialanguage and always wantedto use it in Godly service. Soonan opportunity came my waywhen Brahma Kumaris

decided to start some ValueBased Programme through thechannel E-TV Odiya, whichwas proposed to be telecastfrom Hyderabad. I agreed tocome and give my servicesthere for video-editing andtyping of other related matter.

It was at that time that aservice opportunity at GlobalHospital and Research Centrecame my way. I talked torespected Brother RajyogiNirwair ji about my desire toprovide my services throughT.V. Luckily, he gavepermission and I became aninstrument for this Godlyservice through media. Thus, for the last six years I havebeen doing double servicethrough media-TV as well asfor GHRC. Though I alsosuffered some health problemsbut Murli has alwaysencouraged me to do Godlyservice like ‘Dadhichi Rishi’.Now I am surrendered atGlobal Hospital. In addition tothis service for GHRC, I amalso doing my little bit formedia – be it audio, video, print media, or multimedia soas to give Baba’s message topeople across the world.

Since I belong to a Brahminfamily in loukik life, it isalways said that the Brahminsshould never violate the

We, quite casually,o f f - g u a r d e d l yutter, “Kann–kann

mei bhagwan hai.” or,’ Aatmasou Parmatma’, ‘each soul isSupreme Soul’. Alas, little dowe realize that by saying so,we are abusing God. Are wenot insulting Him by makingHim reside in every particle, every living organism in theatmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and the like…?No matter, even if it meansthat a criminal, a crocodile, asnake, or a dirty animal likepig, all are manifestations ofGod. How ridiculous!

Yet, there are many peoplewho think that God isomnipresent or that all beingsare different manifestations ofone God! Now, the questionarises, “If God, the giver ofhealth and happiness, isomnipresent, why should aperson be diseased at all orwhy should he pray to God forrelieving him of pain?” Alsowhy is there a need to go to thetemples, if he is dwelling withineach human being? Likewise,if God, the Ocean of Purity,Peace and Bliss dwells in the

IS GOD OMNIPRESENT?

heart of all beings, why we aresearching for purity, peace andbliss? Why does a person die,if he/she has God dwelling inhim/her? Can God die? Dothese facts not vouch for thefact that God has His ownseparate identity and abode? He does not dwell in all.

Otherwise, how would youexplain or attribute thestabbing of a man by anotherman or the aspiration of thevision of God by a Yogi? Doesit not show that God has Hisexistence different from that ofindividual souls? Let usunderstand it clearly that Godis the Supreme Soul inBrahmaloka, i.e. the SoulWorld. He is the one whosevision the yogis or the mostobedient, beloved children ofGod aspire for.

It is a point worthy ofconsideration that, if God wereomnipresent or if all beingswere manifestations of God,there would be no sense inwithdrawing our mind from alldirections and focussing it onGod. In that case, one wouldlet one’s mind wander in alldirections to look for pleasure

or happiness or bliss since Godwere in all directions andeverywhere. All these refutethe belief that the self is Godor that God is omnipresent.

Some people concentrate onthe tip of their nose or on apoint between eyebrows or ona candle-flame which are onlymaterial objects. One shouldin fact concentrate on God,who is a point of light residingin the Soul World (The abodeof peace, where all soulslive…or go at the end of theworld cycle of Eternal WorldDrama of 5000 years, aftertheir part/role in the Worlddrama is over).

There is evidence to showthat there was a time, howeverin the remote past, whenpeople of almost every majorreligion in the world believedGod to be Jyoti-Bindu – aneternal Self-luminous point –like entity. The convention, theancient lore, the sacredmonuments and somescriptural texts refer to thisradiant form of God. Christalso said God is kindly light.Even today, some Buddhists inJapan practise concentrationon this form. Sikhs also believethat God is light, as they chant:‘Ek Omkar’. Muslims alsobelieve God as a point of light. In Mecca, the sacred-mostpilgrimage of Muslims, there issymbolic black stone having an

oval- shaped form and amongthe Mohammedans, there is thecustom to touch or kiss it froma distance to signify their loveand reverence for God. Allthese facts point out that onceupon a time, the founders andthe followers of almost everyreligion believed that God wasof this form. In India, theSHIVALING at Amarnathmade of snow, takes the ovalform as that of a flame of light, every year. Even Shri Krishna, the famous deity revered GodShiva as the divine Light-point,the Supreme Being. Again ShriRama, widely worshipped asthe PURUSHOTAM PURUSH,is believed to have paid homageto Shiva at Rameshwaram andthe temple there, is a testimonyto this fact.

Let us tell one and all thatGod, the Supreme Soul doesexist; but, not in Mosques,Temples or Gurudwaras orChurches or human/livingforms. We look out for God inreligious founders or worshipHim in the form of deities. Weforget that God, the SupremeSoul, is Incorporeal and non-physical while the religiousfounders or deities have acorporeal body of their own.In fact, they were worship-worthy (deities) 5000 yearsback; when peace, happiness,

prosperity, longevity andeternal bliss did prevail.Unfortunately, we, through ourvicious actions, denigrated anddegraded ourselves byperforming sinful acts andbecame worshippers. It is hightime we ascend to our originalhigher/elevated stage byimbibing divine virtues andfollow our Incorporeal Father.Yoga is the way for that extra-sensory experience or Godrealization. The communionmeans focussing the mind onGod, the transcendental, microstar-like conscient verity, whois related to us as our spiritualMother-Father. He is ourSaviour, Mentor, Guide,Teacher, Friend and Preceptor. You can make Him your child, caring tenderly for Him, makeHim your constant companionwhile moving, eating, drinkingor keep Him beside in yourday-to-day activities. Thislinking of our mind with Godwill bring us bliss, peace andmight. This is the universaltruth about God that only Heis beyond the cycle of birth anddeath. He is Incorporeal, viceless, egoless (as He does nottake any bodily form),therefore, is not maligned bythe vices of lust, ego, anger, greed or attachment.

Other leaders or founders of

different religions incarnatedto establish their religions atdifferent point of time in thehistory of the world. But thepoint to be noted is that allthese religious leaders/founders were ‘Dharmatmas’(Founders of differentreligions), not ‘Paramaatma’(The Supreme), who is the One,the Supreme Soul, beyond thecycle of birth and death.Similarly, we say, ‘PunyaAtma’, ‘Mahan Atma’, meaning‘Virtuous soul/charitablesoul’,’ Great soul’, but since allof these souls come into thecycle of birth and death, theycannot be called Parmaatma orThe Almighty Authority(Supreme Soul, Shiva, Allah orGod). The Supreme Soul isbeyond the cycle of birth anddeath, hence Supreme or Shiva– ‘Sada Shiv’.

An Ocean of Purity, Peace,Bliss, Wisdom, Knowledge,…God is known as the Fatherof the world not because Hecreated the souls or the matterbut because it is He , whobrings liberation to souls fromthe bondage of five viceswhich are the causes of allsufferings, thus bringing abouta spiritual revolution. In otherwords, God is not omnipresentbut, his remembrance can beomnipresent. All the same, He

Page 32: DADIJI’S AUSPICIOUS CONTENTS

32 The World Renewal, January 2014

is omniscient and omnipotent. We all remember Him, thoughmostly in the hours of need; nomatter whether it is a smallchild remembering Himduring his exams, praying forsecuring good marks or an oldman remembering Him inorder to be relieved of hisphysical problems or; for thatmatter, a youth rememberingHim for success, love, peace, prosperity and the like…

Thus, it would not be wrongto say, “GOD IS NOTOMNIPRESENT, but, HISREMEMBRANCE CAN BEOMNIPRESENT!”

There is work space, home space, storagespace, parking space

and many others. We allocatespace for physical materialsand tasks in our life.

But do we give space to aperson? In other words, do Igive space to other person’sthoughts, feelings, ideas, opinions, wishes? Whichmeans do I accept people asthey are or am I always criticalor judgemental about others?

Do I allow them to bewhat they are?

We all are actors and eachone of us has a role to play.Good or bad, we all have ascript. Each script is uniqueand the whole life revolvesaround this script. When I tendto interfere in or get annoyedat someone’s script i.e. theirbehaviour, then I am notgiving them space to play theirscript. Script covers one’shabits, personality traits, recorded patterns, nature, behaviour, attitude, idea, opinion and belief system.

Example: A carpenter needshis space to create something

SELF-CONTEMPLATION:“EVERYONE NEEDS

SPACE”

with his logs of wood andtools. If he is not given hisspace, he will still work but hiswork will not be efficient.

Giving Space for One’sTask

Say, you have to bake acake, you found your recipeand your work is in progress.Your script is set on bakingnow. But if people around youare constantly commenting onthe way you bake, giving youcorrections and ideas, will yoube able to finish your baking? No, and even if you do so, youwould feel that you didn’t getyour space to work and nexttime you make sure that thereis no one in the house whenyou bake the cake. We expectour space; similarly I shouldalso give space and notinterfere/comment/push other.

Each tree takes its own timeto grow. A rose plant mightgrow quicker than a coconuttree. Likewise, one can takelonger time to finish a task thanthe other. I should just learn togive them their space ratherthan getting annoyed orirritated or trying to be bossy.

Giving Space for One’sbehaviour

People play their rolesaccording to their own beliefsand understanding. They writetheir own script .Our job is tofocus on our roles rather thanbeing caught up in others’scripts. However, that is hardlythe case. As we interact withpeople, there is a backgroundjudgement going on in ourhead. This is calledinterference. I not onlyquestion but get affected byothers’ roles and blame theperson and their script. Themoment I think “why thisperson is talking to me likethis”, “how can he cut me offin the freeway”, “why didn’tshe smile at me”, “how canthey treat me like this”, “Ideserve respect”, “I alwaysend up waiting in the bank, theofficers are not efficient”, “Ihelped so much but she didn’teven care”,” he is so mean”,“she is always late”...I amtrying to control the otherperson’s script. For me theright way is the way I wantedit to be.

I have to understand thatpeople behave according totheir judgement and feelings.I can only change and controlmy script and not that ofothers. Rather than raisingquestions and gettingdisturbed, I can accept them asthey are and tune myself

accordingly. Say, I am driving and when Isee a stone in my way, I just turn my car inother direction. I do not stop the car and askwhy the stone is here, who put it. Similarly,I work on myself to adjust myself with theperson who is troubling me instead ofblaming or becoming a victim.

I have the power to create and change. Ican improvise on my role and be completelyeasy, cool, light, accepting and focused.

We have been living so far in our automaticmode i.e. there is no control on our emotions;they come and go as they wish. Rajyoga helpsus to switch to manual mode where you canerase, write, develop and modify your script.Effort and attention is required in manualmode. I am consciously thinking and creatingpositive thoughts, teaching myself todistinguish good from bad. Once this processis completed, I can put myself in automaticmode of being peaceful, loving and happywithout any effort.

As you read this, you may wish to rewritenot only your script but also change the wayyou play it out. Whenever I understand andrealize something deeply, I get the power todo it. Didn’t Baba tell us that each one of usis a master creator?

also remain detached from all physical relations and, thus, be ready for our return journey toIncorporeal World.

Moreover, from the point of view of performing Godly service in the manner God wantsus to do; we should use only those pictures which are related to Godly service. Keepingourselves away from the pictures which give rise to body-consciousness and attachment, ifwe invest our time, thought and breath in building our character for our present and futureand doing World Welfare, then, not only all our past misdeeds will be burnt in Godlyremembrance, but we’ll also get the heart-throne of Shiv Baba and will attain the higherstatus in the forthcoming New World.
