We aspire to be the leading service provider in eacharea of our diverse operations, supported by a culture of teamwork, innovation, integrity and performance.

AL DAICEL EXCAVATION COMPANY was formerly known as Al Daicel Heavy Equipment Division.It is one of the eighteen divisions of Al Daicel Trading & Contracting Company which was establishedin 1999, with the purpose of participating in the development of the State of Qatar.

Al Daicel Heavy Equipment Division after just a few years in the excavation business became one of theleading excavation contractors in the State of Qatar, thus in recognition of its numerous accomplish-ments especially for the excavation of buildings, roads, underpasses, pump stations, airports, oil & gaspipelines, drainage systems, landscaping parks and trenches for different underground services it waschanged to Al Daicel Excavation Division in 2008.

As more years passed, Al Daicel Excavation Division grew bigger, stronger and more in-demand in theprivate and public sector for excavation, backfilling, demolition, material supply and transportationworks, thus in August of 2010, it was finally named as Al Daicel Excavation Company.

At present Al Daicel Excavation Company is known all through-out the State of Qatar for excavationworks, demolition works, transportation and supply of backfill materials and as well as backfilling works.Various projects completed for numerous clients have been compiled in this profile to show proof of ouraccomplishments and as well as resiliency in the various fields of work in the construction business herein Qatar.

The range of the contracts undertaken by Al Daicel Excavation Company has been from QR 1,500,000up to QR 40,000,000 and still it is growing higher.

EXCAVATION WORKSAL DAICEL HAS DISTINGUISHED CAPABILITIES IN EXECUTING EXCAVATION WORKS WHICHEXTEND TO:

- Excavating in all types of grounds up to the hardest rocky layers.- Carrying out bulk excavation works in millions of m3 and as deep as needed.- Carrying out excavation works accurately for localized areas such as trenches, isolated

foundations, pits, manholes, etc...- Executing large volumes of excavations reaching 100,000 m3 per month.

Al Daicel has the adequate and sufficient equipment, manpower, logistics and services to support the execution of the above works in a professional manner.

BACKFILLING WORKSAL DAICEL HAS THE PROPER SET-UP TO EXECUTE LARGE BACKFILLING VOLUMES REACHING AN AVERAGE OF 70,000 M3 PER MONTH AS DETAILED BELOW:

- Movable crushers that can be run for up to 18 hours per day and having the capacity to produce 750 m3 of crushed material per hour with sizes ranging between 50 mm and 75 mm.

- Large laydown areas, where excavated material can be transported to and crushing activitycan take place.

- Set agreements for the supply of material needed to be mixed with the crushed material, such as dune sand, etc...

- A large fleet of equipment for transporting and laying the backfilling material, such as trucks,graders, water tankers, rollers of different sizes and other support equipment..

SUPPLY & TRANSPORTATION WORKSAL DAICEL CARRIES OUT THE BELOW SUPPLY AND TRANSPORTATION WORKS BESIDES THE EXCAVATION AND THE BACKFILLING ACTIVITIES WHICH CONSTITUTE THE CORE BUSINESS OF AL DAICEL:

- Supply of aggregates of all sizes.- Supply of dune sand and washed sand.- Supply of all types of backfilling material.- Supply of rocks for landscaping work.- Supply of sub-base and sub-grade material.- Removal of different types of scrap material (truck loads).- Transportation of all types of material.

Al Daicel has a large fleet of trucks and trailers and low-bed and flat bed trucks that can be used for thetransportation of different types of material as the need in the project.

Employees

The company presently has around 145 full-time personnel, 40 rental operators and 110 rental laborers. Most of these full-time personnel have been with the company for more than 7 years. Also included areprofessional and licensed engineers who are experienced in their various fields of work. Our foremen, operators and drivers are all experienced, duly licensed, certified and have worked for various projects undertaken by the company for the past 13 years.

DEMOLITION WORKSAL DAICEL CARRIES OUT DEMOLISHING ACTIVITIES FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF STRUCTURES SUCHAS BUILDINGS, ROADS, OTHER UNDERGROUND AND ABOVEGROUND STRUCTURE, PILE HEADS,ETC...

AL DAICEL has the proper expertise and equipment for executing demolishing works in a safe mannerand in line with the applicable rules and regulations.

EQUIPMENT RENTALAL DAICEL OFFERS THE OPTION FOR ITS CLIENTS TO RENT EQUIPMENTS SUCH AS TRUCKS OF DIFFERENT SIZES, WHEEL LOADERS, DOZERS, EXCAVATORS, ETC..., ALONG WITH EXPERIENCEDOPERATORS.

MATERIAL CRUSHINGAL DAICEL OWNS SEVERAL CRUSHERS THAT CAN PRODUCE UP TO 700 m3 PER HOUR OF AGGREGATE OF SIZE RANGING BETWEEN 50 mm AND 75 mm.

Al Daicel crushers are portable and can be moved to the project site for carrying out the crushing activities on site as and when needed by the client.

AL DAICEL EXCAVATION COMPANY HAS AROUND SIXTY FIVE REGISTERED VEHICLES AND SEVENTY FIVE REGISTERED EQUIPMENTS AS ITS FLEET FOR EXCAVATION, DEMOLITION, BACKFILLINGAND TRANSPORTATION WORKS.

The company vehicles include: dump trucks, dump trailers, low beds, flat beds, water tankers, coasterservice-buses, maintenance service trucks, fuel tankers, pick-ups and many others.

The company equipments include: crawler type rock breakers, crawler type backhoes, bulldozers, grader,wheeled excavators, payloaders or wheeled shovels, steel skid-loaders, bobcats, backhoe loaders, rollers,crushers, power screener and many others.

Most of these vehicles and equipments are 2007 up to 2012 models.

Note:

In December 2009 up to June 2011 we were able to completely excavate and remove around 2.3 millioncubic meters from the Doha Land Project alone using our very own equipments and trucks. The maximumdepth excavated was 24 meters.

We also have a 95% Advance-Completion Rate for all the projects we have undertaken since we started the company up to the present.

IT IS THE POLICY OF AL DAICEL EXCAVATION COMPANY TO ESTABLISH THROUGHOUT ITSENTIRE ORGANIZATION THE MAIN CONCEPT "THAT PEOPLE AND PROPERTY ARE OUR MOSTIMPORTANT CORPORATE ASSETS, AND THE PROTECTION THEREOF HAS MANAGEMENT'S HIGHESTPRIORITY."

The Company acknowledges and accepts its full responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workingenvironment for its employees. It also endorses the concept that this responsibility cannot be discharged passively, but requires the active effort and support of every level of management through constant training and supervision of its employees and through continued review and assessment of itsconstruction methods. The Company also affirms to continue on-going training and educational programs for all employees and as well as subcontractors it may employ in order to maximize the safetyand compliance with the requirements of International, State and Local standards governing the principles of OH & S policy and system.

Through the implementation and promotion of occupational health and safety of people in and aroundwork places, the Company aims for the reduction and eventual elimination of OH & S risks that result in the disruption of work, loss of property and injury, with a high regard for the conservation of theenvironment in its operations and strive to reduce emission, discharges and wastes as per local rulesand regulations.

THE FOLLOWING PPE SHALL BE MANDATORY FOR ALL PERSONNEL ENTERING THE WORKSITE COM-PLYING WITH THE STANDARDS:

- Hard hat.- Safety boots.- Safety glasses.- High visible reflective vests.- Overall or clothing that covers the legs and upper arms of the body.

Noise and Atmospheric Monitoring and Control

NOISE AND ATMOSPHERIC MONITORING AND CONTROL WILL BE AN ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROJECT SITE MANAGER AND HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER IN ORDER TO KEEP IMPACTSFROM ACTIVITIES TO A MINIMUM AND TO PROVIDE PROTECTION TO WORKERS AND OTHERS IN THE VICINITY OF THE ACTIVITY IN QUESTION. FOREMEN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROVI-SIONS FOR WORK ACTIVITIES INVOLVING MACHINERY; EQUIPMENT OR OTHER MEANS AND WILLTAKE STEPS TO ASSURE THAT A PURPOSEFUL PROGRAM IS FOLLOWED. WORKER PROTECTION MATERIALS SUCH AS EARPLUGS OR OTHER DEVICES WILL BE PROVIDED AND USED BY PERSONNELOPERATING EQUIPMENTS/MACHINES LIABLE TO PRODUCE HIGH NOISE OR WHILE WORKING IN THE VICINITY OF SUCH EQUIPMENTS/MACHINES.

Dust control measures/sand emissions shall primarily include spraying water from tankers on access roadsused for hauling/transporting material to site. Dust control measures shall be applied to the roads withinthe Project Site area, and more so specifically in and around populated areas. Alternate methods for dustcontrol because of site restrictions, if required, for specific tasks shall be addressed progressively andaddressed to Client/Consultant in the weekly meetings prior to formally implementing the same at site.

Dust mask will be provided to personnel working in dust prone areas/carrying out dust prone activitiessuch as excavation, backfilling, etc...

Environment Management

IT IS THE COMPANY’S POLICY TO MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT IN ITS NATURALCONDITION TO THE MAXIMUM PRACTICABLE EXTENT, TO AN ACCEPTABLE STANDARD, IN LINEWITH THE LAWS IN FORCE/ QP’S REQUIREMENT, BY ENSURING THAT ALL ENVIRONMENTALIMPACTS ARISING BECAUSE OF THE CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISSIONING ACTIVITIES AREPLANNED FOR IN THE SCHEDULE OF WORK, PRIOR TO ITS COMMENCEMENT, AND INCLUDED INTHE JSA AND RISKASSESSMENT WORKSHEET WITH APPROPRIATE CORRECTIVE MEASURES TO BETAKEN IN MINIMIZING THE EFFECT OF THE IMPACT TO AN ACCEPTABLE STANDARD.

The Company shall achieve this objective throughout its operations including its subcontractors/ suppliers, by imparting and communicating the Company Policy on environment to its personnel (andsubcontractor/supplier personnel) through training sessions/ literature/ audio-video presentation(s).

Waste Management

THE COMPANY SHALL COLLECT WASTE IN DESIGNATED AREAS AND ARRANGE FOR THE DISPOSAL OF THE SAME IN AN ORDERLY MANNER IN CONSISTENCE WITH QP/LOCAL PREVAILING STANDARDS/NORMS AND PROCEDURES.

Wastes from the excavation site shall be collected in either bins/skips or within a rigid fenced area identified on a placard.

Fenced areas shall be used for collecting excavation wastes such as concrete, metal etc. Wastes collectedwithin the fenced areas shall be collected and disposed using tippers/loaders at Municipality designateddumping grounds in consistence with the current Municipality regulations/standards.

Work Procedures for Excavation and Backfilling

THE COMPANY SHALL ESTABLISH AND OPERATE AS PER THE STEPS LISTED BELOW IN ENSURINGA SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL WORKERS WHO MAY BE DOING EARTHWORKS OR WORKING INTHE VICINITY AND THUS EXPOSED TO THE HAZARDS RELATED TO EARTHWORKS.

MOVEMENT OF EQUIPMENTS/VEHICLES SHALL BE CLEARLY DEFINED AND IDENTIFIED, FROM THESTOCKPILING YARD TO SITE. TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE, PEDESTRIAN CROSSING ACROSS VEHICLEROUTES SHALL BE LIMITED TO NONE, AND WHEN IMPOSSIBLE THE SAME SHALL BE CLEARLYMARKED WITH SIGNAGE INDICATING SO, WITH MAKESHIFT SPEED BREAKERS MADE OF SOIL ONEITHER SIDE OF THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. THE ENTIRE ROUTE SHALL CARRY SIGNAGE SHOWINGMOVEMENT OF EQUIPMENT VEHICLE.

AL DAICEL EXCAVATION COMPANY

Shall take into account the ground conditions before commencing any excavation. For thispurpose the company requires all its clients to hire the services of an approved testing lab who will undertake trial pits and boreholes at site to determine the ground conditions, prior to deciding on the dewatering methods, if applicable, and excavation. The report from thetesting lab shall provide details of the ground water and the geological characteristics of theunderlying strata.

The company in addition to the above shall take into consideration the presence of adjacentstructures/facilities and existing services, prior to commencing any excavations.

The company shall request its client to obtain necessary permits from Kahramaa prior to commencing any excavation. This will ensure that no water and (or) electricity lines are accidentally damaged during excavation. Moreover, if such a service is present, Kahramaa shall isolate the same and possibly re-route or disable/ cancel the service during the construction period.

Any contaminated ground, if any, shall be handled similar to handling hazardous substances,and a JHA will be prepared to this effect prior to commencing handling of the same. Presently,the enabling works contractor is excavating and no such contamination is evident.

The company shall request its Client to engage the services of a specialist agency for dewatering works, if required.

The company shall undertake a JSA prior to commencing any earthwork and present the sameto the client or its consultant for a formal approval prior to its implementation.

The company shall not commence any excavation without a valid excavation permit from theclient or its consultant.

All personnel shall undergo the Safety Induction prior to being sent to site for works.NecessaryPPE and its usage will also be provided/explained during the induction.

The Project Manager shall undertake a Preparatory Meeting prior to commencement of workaddressing all personnel related to earthwork. The meeting will discuss the following, but notlimited to:

- Mandatory PPE and requirements.- Emergency contact numbers.- Emergency Procedure.- Expected hazards and the controls for preventing/identifying them.- Working method.

All trucks that may be going on to the public roads shall have covers to prevent any spillage.

Intersections of site roads with public roads shall be marked to indicate beginning of site limits orpublic road on either side of the display respectively, as appropriate.

All excavation will be supervised closely by the Site Engineer/Foreman.

Equipments checks and certifications will be audited prior to its deployment.

All drivers/operators shall be certified/licensed and the same shall be audited prior to deployment.

The Site Engineer/Foreman shall be ensuring an equipment/ vehicle check prior to starting anysession. The checks may include the following but not limited to:

a. All cabs for drivers/operators are clean without any obstruction between controls.b. All mirrors are secure, unbroken and clearly visible from the drivers/operators cab.c. All indicators/ lights are in working order d. The driver/ equipment operator shall be responsible for carrying out the following

checks prior to commencing any operation at the beginning of each session, but not limited to:

- All cabs are clean without any obstruction between controls- All mirrors are secure, unbroken and clearly visible from the drivers/operators cab- All indicators/ lights are in working order- All track plates and connectors are in good condition and secured with proprietary

locking pins.- All dipper arm joints and attachments are secured with proprietary pins and

locking pins.- Water and (or) oil pressure gauges are working.

Any malfunction/ defect noted by the operator/ driver shall be brought to the attention of the SiteEngineer/Foreman and the same referred to the garage for necessary replacement/repair.Defective/malfunctioning equipment/vehicles may not be used on site.

Access into excavation shall be provided by making ramps out of the excavated material. The rampshall be wide enough to accommodate the vehicle/equipment safely. Pedestrian access may be provided to the side of the ramp or alternatively by means of access ways which are at least 600mm wide battened along its length at intervals to provide an anti-slip surface.

Vehicle and safety regulators shall be available full time during excavations/backfilling to ensureproper movement. Signalmen as necessary depending on the quantum of work being done shall beprovided to signal the trucks and (or) equipments safely.

Excavator/loader buckets shall not be used for raising/lowering personnel.

Continuous safety barriers (rigid) shall be provided around the excavated areas regardless of thedepth.

Unexpected events shall be recorded to report to QP/ KEO for an agreeable solution. In such cases,works shall be suspended locally in the affected area until a resolution is reached.
