Plea to DyCM The attention of the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh is drawn towards the plight of people of villages Gol, Nandini, Trilokpur, Raipur Jagir, Saari and Pouni Chak. These five villages are located just 5 kms from Jewel Chowk and 2 Kms from 4th bridge. But due to callous attitude of the Jammu Development Authorities (JDA) the entrance to these vil- lages was blocked in May 2014 on the pretext that some people had encroached JDA land. But irony of the situation is that those who had grabbed the land have road connectivity while the origi- nal residents of these village have been denied the same. As much we face tremendous hardships in reaching the respective villages. We have brought the matter in the notice of the concerned authorities a number of times but no action has been taken in this regard so far.
