Tatra case: Court allows Ravi Rishi to go to UK for treatmentNEW DELHI, June 4:

Vectra Group ChiefRavinder Rishi, facing CBIprobe for alleged irregularitiesin supply of all-terrain Tatratrucks, has been allowed by aDelhi court to travel to the UKfor four weeks for treatment.

Special CBI Judge RavinderKaur permitted Rishi to travel tothe UK for four weeks from June

2 for treatment of his liver ail-ment after the agency said it hadno objection to it.

57-year-old Rishi, a Britishnational, is facing a CBI probeover alleged irregularities insupply of Tatra trucks to publicsector Bharat Earth MoversLimited (BEML) by his firmTatra-Sipox UK.

Rishi had moved the courtfor its permission to travel to

the UK for four weeks sayinghe had earlier travelled abroadfrom April 21 this year formedical tests and had returnedto India on May 18 after theDelhi High Court's order.

The court, while allowing Rishito travel to the UK for four weeks,referred to the High Court's orderwhich had said that he was entitledto have treatment from a medicalexpert of his choice. (PTI)
