On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for August delivery traded at USD1188.90 a troy ounce at time of writing up 0.20%. Earlier, it traded at a session high USD1192.40 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1181.10 and resistance at USD1209.00. US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.14% to trade at USD97.20. Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for July delivery gained 0.21% to trade at USD16.682 a troy ounce while Copper for July delivery gained 0.10% to trade at USD2.771 a pound. Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD58.33 a barrel at time of writing up 1.12%. Earlier, it traded at a session high USD58.42 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.51 and resistance at USD60.25.
