Steiner Septic Service Update On March 18, Debby and Steve Steiner, owners of Steiner Septic Service, had a fire that destroyed their shop and septic truck. They reached out to MACCI to help spread the word they are rebuilding and will be back. See their let-ter below and spread the word.

“This past month has had its ups and downs to say the least. But we are trying to consider our shop fire as a detour not a dead end.

We have been in business since 2002, having built our shop in 2006. We lost our septic truck, shop and entire con-tents in a fire on March 18th. The fire was reported by a passerby at 8:45 pm and was a total loss 4 hours later. The official cause of the fire is “undetermined cause”.

We restarted our business as of April 1st with a leased truck. Our next truck and tank is being assembled and should arrive by mid-May. Clean-up from the fire is complete and we hope to start rebuilding the shop in the next 2 weeks.

We look forward to continuing our septic pick-up and porta potty rentals in the Stratford and surrounding areas.”

FOR THE 7TH ANNUAL

Thank you to the businesses, agencies, and schools that agreed to disperse the Behavioral (Mental) Health Bike Path - Roadmap! There are over 35 Wood County locations where the “Bike Path” is being distributed!

Health People Wood County Mental Health Coalition’s mission is to provide opportunities and identify resources that promote healthy coping and therefore enhance the quality of life of Wood County residents. To improve understanding of, and reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health in our community, the Coalition has finalized and printed the roadmap and distributed around Wood County.

For the most current Bike Path and additional information and re-sources, go to www.co.wood.wi.us/Departments/Health/.

Answer:When you invest for growth, you are typically seeking capital appreciation over the long term. You will likely choose investmentsthat you believe will exhibit a faster-than-average increase in share price over the coming years. Growth stocks have the potentialto outperform slower-growing investments, such as income stocks, because gains are generally reinvested in the company toachieve further growth rather than distributed to shareholders as a dividend. Growth stocks can be volatile. One way to minimizethe impact of that volatility on your portfolio is to purchase shares of a growth mutual fund. You'll enjoy instant diversification(though diversification alone cannot guarantee a profit or ensure against a loss). And an actively-managed mutual fund also offersprofessional management expertise.

A value investor seeks out bargains, and chooses investments that have low prices in relation to such factors as earnings, sales, net current assets, and the book value of the issuing companies. A value investor might reject a popular blue chip stock becausethe price per share is too high, even though the issuing company is stable and has a record of steady growth. Instead, the valueinvestor seeks to buy stock of a solid company that is temporarily out of favor or bargain priced for some other reason. In doingso, the value investor predicts that the share price will eventually return to a higher level when the stock comes back into favor, and the market drives the stock price back up. A mutual fund manager may specialize in growth investing, value investing, orsome combination.
