Audit & Assurance We examine clients’ financial statements using engagement-based models. We evaluate the fairness of statements documentation in conformity with International Auditing Standards. Internal control system review and test of transactions are part of what we do. We adopt “risk–based audit” approach that combines technical competencies with a detailed client's field knowledge and needs. We accumulate in-depth understanding of the risks associated with each operational business cycle. Statutory Audit/External audit A methodical review of clients’ financial statements that provides high level of assurance. It includes the verification of specific information that are either determined by the auditor or the norm of the general practice. Our work includes a review of internal controls, testing of carefully selected transactions, as well as communication with third parties. Tax Consultancy As the Government of UAE approaches the implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT), all companies will be required to register for VAT. Mr. Mahmoud founded the firm in 1994 and has since then transformed the company to become a reputable and respectful audit and financial consultancy in the UAE. Mr. Mahmoud had served as Audit Manager at Deloitte Touch Ross (Saba & Co) before the inauguration of Dar Al-Nuzum. With more than 45 years of professional experience, Mr. Mahmoud has built decent expertise in: • External audit • Audit of government entities • Liquidation and insolvency • Company formation • Business valuation • Due diligence reviews • Fraud and forensic audits • Legal framework in UAE. Mr. Mohammed is ASCA and ACPA qualified and active member of AAA. With over 15 years of post-qualification experience in the UAE, he brings along innovative ideas backed up with hardwork. He is specialized in the field of audit, accounting and management advisory services. Planning and administering the Audit Schedules, delegation and supervision of work, design and implementation of accounting systems and procedures are some of his areas of experise.

Mr. Mahesh is a professional Chartered Accountant with over 31 years of experience in the field of audit, assurance, finance and tax consultancy. Mahesh has served in several positions as Audit Manager, Audit Director and as Associate Partner in audit and consultancy in the UAE and India. He is a Fellow member of Dubai Chapter of ICAI and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.

Mr. Mervin is a Business Management (BBM) Graduate from India and is a finalist in ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants- UK).
