Part 1: gathering knowledge After leaving the back house the party comes across a group of bandits fleeing undead priest. Quickly destroying the priest they were surprised to find a living lady behind them, claiming the bandits had stolen a forbidden tome and slain the priest only for them to rise as undead once more. She tasked them with retrieving the tome as she went back to candle keep to research the strange events happening. They are unaware the tome is the tome of vile darkness and that the women is Caira Xentos, the slave of Atropus. Part 2: hell breaks loose The player’s learn in water deep that the bandits have went north, heading towards Ice Wind Dale. Hearing this, the player’s set out. As they go farther north, they find the glaciers advancing upon the world, as are the creatures of the winter lands. Snow is falling upon waterdeep and advancing down the sword coast daily. In ten towns, they learn that the bandits have headed towards the shifting ice, where a mountain has arisen within warning. It is from this mountain they claim the cold is spewing forth. (Elder Evils, Father Lymic.) As Father Lymic is defeated, the slain bandits vanish, their bodies dissolving into a black mist. The mountain of ice cracks violently, showering the chamber with razor like crystals, the entrance caving in and blocking your exit. Darkness consumes you… Part 3: The hulks You awaken in Ten Towns, bandages and healing. It has been a few days since the incident with Father Lymic apparently. You are told to stay in bed and rest, but are awakened around midnight but shouts and the sound of metal on metal.

Part 3: The hulksYou awaken in Ten Towns, bandages and healing. It has been a few days

since the incident with Father Lymic apparently. You are told to stay in bed and rest, but are awakened around midnight but shouts and the sound of metal on metal.

You hear the sounds of battle in all directions, and the swelling song of barbarians , Ten Towns is at war. However, an oddity stands out above all the rest, you hear women and children fighting as well.

In the lobby of the Inn sits a women in a white cloak, her shoulder length back hair, with a reddish tint, resting upon her shoulders. She stares out the window, watching the horrors of battle outside.

“I tried to stop this….all of this. The Hulks will be awakened and there is now nothing we can do…it is all to late,” she jumps as she notices you are entering the room, “stay back!:

She calms realizing you are not consumed by rage, “You may still be able to help…you are not effected by the signs either…if we hurry we can stop the Hulks. If they awaken an army of indestructible stone warriors will flood the world!”

(Hulks of Zoretha, moderate sign)

The Hulks crumble away as they are defeated, the ritual broken. The women is no where to be seen however.

Part 5: Pandorym A few days have passed since defeating the Hulks and returning the north to

a state of peace when a strange humanoid approaches the party, runes floating around his head.

“I have sought you out….the saviors of Faerun, unaffected by the signs and able to defeat the Elder Evils…my entire race, no, this entire world now rest in your hands. Pandorym is about to be awakened, the ultimate weapon, the god killer. If it is, nothing can stop it, nothing at all. We can not allow that to happen!” (Pandorym, Faint Sign)

As pandorym is put to rest once more, the Illumian thanks the party, before telling them of the news of the surface. A great army of demon and undead are flooding the world and clashing with the largest towns.

They are lead by a being known as Gorgouth, a general of the abyss, while the demonic lords fight amongst themselves and the invading nine devil lords.

Part 5: Blood warOrcus invades the gaping maw, to battle demogorgon. All of the abyss breaks

out into war, as Gorgouth fleeds the abyss with his army and assaults the world. Meanwhile Caira Xansten unleashes her spell upon Candle Keep, leveling it. (Atropus, sign at full)

The sky is ripped apart, and from it falls the princes of hell, and a massive tentacled beast. Zargon the returned had found his prey.

A blazing mass with a miles-long tail of corrupted essence, slams into the world. Most of her body is consumed in the impact, which creates a superheated crater 30 miles in diameter. The explosion can be heard a thousand miles away, and the tremors are strong enough to knockdown buildings a hundred miles distant.

Other: The monument portalA monument splits open, revealing a portal to another realm, a strong taint of

evil spilling forth.(Sertrous)

Other: Calm once more?The world has calmed, the elder evils mostly banished and the men of the

world going about rebuilding what was destroyed. Most rejoice for life, but all are aware that the divine population has been decimated.

Rumors speak of orc clans venturing into the tomb of horrors to collect their artifacts to declare themselves rulers of their race.

The orc follows the players into the tomb only to reveal his true nature before the sphere of annihilation.

Other: reclaiming evermeetSuddenly divine presence floods the world once more, revealing the truth of

events to all of those linked to a god, devil, demon, or other powerful outsider. A single message is burned into every elven mind in the world, “The elf eater has invaded evermeet!”

Other: All nightmares end!As the Elf Eater is defeated the world returns to peace. The signs are all gone,

and the world is starting to rebuild. However, the truth is revealed as the world try to sleep, every nightmare a being has ever had tears through their mind, threatening to consume them until they awaken.

claim the elfs soul)

Other: Truth at lastAs you return to Faerun, you are dismayed to see a large black blot in the sky,

Another elder evil.(Shothragot)

Revelations: Everything was orchestrated by Asmodeus, to weaken the gods, regain the

ability to heal his body, destroy or greatly weaken the demonic hordes, and strengthen himself with powers immune to divine abilities, he unleashes the elder evil, taking their powers for himself as they are slain.

Side Quest: Leviathian If the party goes to a sea side town, or has completed the rest, start

leviathian.(Leviathian, Moderate Sign)
