Last Week the Three Little Pig had a party and Teddy Bear baked cookies for them. They tasted GREAT!

Teddy Bear told me about the birthday party he was planning. He told me the money that he got as a birthday gift and the income he earned from baking the cookies for the Three Little Pigs.

I also want to know about earning income! What is an income? I asked Teddy Bear if the money I received from doing gardening for my neighbors are income. What do you think?

Teddy Bear said yes, that the money was income. Teddy Bear told me that if I have questions about money I should ask Goldilocks and the wolf.

I told Goldilocks and the Wolf that I really want to buy a new Lightsaber. There are other things that I want to buy, like an iPhone, iPad and 3D DS. I don’t think I’ll ever have enough to buy the new Lightsaber!

I really need a new Lightsaber, my one is broken and is not working anymore. What do you think I should do?

Have you ever play soccer before? In soccer the goal or aim of the game is to score goals. With money, people also have goals or aims. Dark Vader’s goal or aim is to buy a new Lightsaber. Do you have a goal?

Well, Dark Vader it seems like you need a plan to help you. The Lightsaber is your goal.

Now I know what a goal is. But I don’t know how to make a plan!Well, Dark Draver when you earn income from doing jobs you have to decide how much will you spending now. Spending is using part of your income to buy goods and services.

How long will I need to save?

Well, that depends on the price of the Lightsaber and how much are you willing to save each week.

I already have $10 that I received as a gift, I also have $6 I earned raking leaves for my neighbors.

Golilocks said, “That means you already have a head start because you’ve already saved $16.00. That’s great!!”

The Wolf, “If you keep on saving and not spend any of your money, you probably can get your new Lightsaber next week!”
