digital interfaces.  A hundred small heart-shaped red consolesalternately displaying on their screens pro�lepictures of teenagers cuddling and their mostinsulting tweets, such as "i hope you get fat anddie". The work "Kill Your Darlings", by Dutch artistJeroen Van Loon, which highlights the ambivalencebetween the seductive image that young girls wantto give themselves and the aggressiveness allowedby social networks, is the �rst to attract the eye . 

The Charlot gallery, which specializes incontemporary digital and video art, has beenexhibiting the "Data Dating" exhibition since May18th. Through twelve installations by severalinternational artists, the event raises the questionof the impact of new technologies on ourrelationships and our intimacy. 

The curator of the exhibition, Italian Valentina Peri,says she has matured this theme after trying outdating apps at the age of 30. "I realized theexistence of codes speci�c to digital in the �eld ofseduction," says anthropologist training. "And Ialso noticed that many of the artists we work withhad mentioned the subject at one time or another."

The "Ashley Madison at Work" facility is part of theAshley Madison hacking scandal that revealed thedata of 75,000 female bots created by the extra-marital dating platform to attract 32 million maleclients. The group of Swiss artists MediengruppeBitnik confronts the viewer with perfect women in

The project "Tinder VR", made viral on the Internetbefore appearing in physics in the gallery, is theresult of a happening during which the artist TomGalle "swiped" pro�les Tinder in the New Yorksubway equipped with a dummy virtual realityheadset.

In "Webcam Venus", also available online , AddieWagenknecht and Pablo Garcia asked forsexcamers to reproduce the poses of classicpaintings, comparing the presence of the naked inart and its devaluation online. Many works thatquestion the evolution of our relationship to eachother and sex in the age of smartphones, themultiplication of opportunities it o�ers us throughits most dehumanizing.
