Data Protection Statement

In May 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the existing 1995 EU Data Protection Directive (European Directive 95/46/EC).

True Influence currently complies with applicable domestic data protection regulations and is committed to GDPR compliance across its relevant services when the GDPR takes effect May 25, 2018. True Influence has a dedicated internal team made up of cross-functional stakeholders overseeing True Influence GDPR readiness. True Influence ongoing compliance efforts include:

ASSESSMENTTrue Influence reviews where and how our relevant services collect, use, store and dispose of personal data and updating policies, standards, governance and documentation on a scheduled basis.

CONTRACTUAL COMMITMENTSWorking in conjunction with our own partners and customers, True Influence is reviewing our contractual commitments and updating as needed to directly

address GDPR requirements. In the coming weeks, True Influence will release a technical compliance statement with provisions to assist our partners and customers with their GDPR compliance. True Influence is also reviewing its supplier contracts to ensure GDPR compliance throughout its supply chain.

CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERIn addition to ensuring True Influence contractual commitments meet the requirements to legally transfer data from the EU to the rest of the world under applicable law, True Influence plans to certify under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND AWARENESSAll True Influence employees must complete data privacy and security training. True Influence will supplement existing training modules with GDPR-specific content. In addition to these training requirements, True Influence will continue to conduct ongoing awareness initiatives including data protection, security and privacy.

In this context, True Influence generally will act as a data processor and our partners and customers generally will act as data controllers.
