1. A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTENTS OF THE REPORT
A database that contains 53 motifs (authentic symbols and elements of fashion design), which are elements of ethnic identity with visual and aesthetic values of Serbs and Romanians living in Banat is done. Each of the presented designs contains individually: 1. Visual presentation, 2. Textual description, 3. Textual description of techniques applied within the production,
4. Textual description of the application of techniques for the production of the modern fashion
products, 5. Recommendations of the application of modern techniques in theproduction of the same motifs on modern fashion products (embroidery, printing, etc.) and 6. Recommendation of choice of modern textile materials (raw material composition, weight per square meter, and the like.) from which modern fashion items can be created. In this report the opinion on the following is given: - Which authentic symbols and elements of fashion design from the culture of Banat can be the basis for the development of modern clothing and fashion products. - An explanation on how authentic symbols and elements of fashion design from the culture of Banat can be created in modern industrial production and in the unique production of clothing, as well as other fashion items acceptable for today's customer’s demands. - An explanation about which basic and auxiliary materials, as well as modern technologies of the production of garments or unique production of clothing are best to choose for the production of authentic symbols and elements of fashion design from the culture of Banat

modern fashion products:
For the creation of modern clothing products inspired by the presented costume nowadays fabrics made on industrial production lines for weaving can be used. All techniques of preparation of raw materials, weaving and finishing of fabrics used nowadays can be used for making the necessary material for modern clothing products inspired by presented costume without any special requirements for using a specific production phase. The sewing of contemporary clothing products inspired by presented costume can be made in modern production lines for sewing. It is recommended that the line for sewing contains: universal sewing machines, machines for making holes and sewing buttons and the like.
5. Recommendations of the application of modern techniques in the production of
the same motifs on modern fashion products (embroidery, printing, etc.):
A displayed costume is decorated with embroidery and lace. It is recommended that on the modern fashion products lace should be used which is made industrially by a knitting technique. For the decoration by embroidery, industrial embroidery machines with one or more jobs are recommended. Also, embroidered motifs can be an inspiration for decorating modern fashion products by printing technique as well. For printing a recommended techniques are screen printing, printing on modern plotters of textile materials and similar techniques.

It is recommended that presented costume can be an inspiration for the development of following modern fashion products: women's skirt, women's shirt, women's vest and the like. Woman's skirt - it is recommended that woman's skirt should be made from materials of mixtures of 95% viscose, 5% elastane (plush), of a weight of 200 grams per square meter. From the auxiliary material it is recommended to use elastic, zipper, etc.

From the auxiliary material it is recommended to use decorative buttons.
