PAL 150 Inox AISI 304An AISI 304 stainless steel frame is a validsolution for sanitizing wash down requirementsand best environmental hygiene in the foodprocessing, chemicals production andpharmaceutical industries.

PAL 150 PneumaticThis door version meets all processingrequirements in explosion -prone environmentsby use of a totally pneumatic drive motor.

PAL 200 AntipanicA panic exit feature is censored by theinstallation of a counterbalance spring installedinside one of the vertical mullions. In case ofpower outage this counterbalance systemallows for motor brake unlocking and automaticcurtain lifting or, alternatively, manual unlockingby means of a pushbutton positioned at aconvenient operator’s height. This safety systemcan be connected to central safety logics e.g. firefighting systems.

PAL 150 SPRThis door has been specifically designed forintegration into automated production systems,with specific safety features and protection ofpersonnel from mechanical hazards(anti-breakdown). PAL 150 SPR allows interfacingwith centralised PLC logic for the control andmanagement of openings/closures.

Safety features

Emergency openingIn case of power outage or a breakdown,opening and closing operations are ensured bya manual control located at a suitable operatorheight for a snap ingrain into the drive motor. ThePAL 200 version is fitted with a counterbalancingspring installed inside one of the side jambs formotor brake unlocking and automatic curtainlifting.

Safety photocellA pair of photocell beams stop the curtaindescent and make it lift again, if they detect anobstruction in the doorway.

Door Fall PreventingComplying with current regulations, all verticalhigh speed roll up doors must be fitted with adevice preventing them to fall in case of breakdown. PAL doors are fitted with a "no-fall device"curtain which is connected to the irreversiblereducer mounted directly on the winding drum.

Optional Safety Devices

Emergency/panic door opening (Coilpatent) for PAL 200 onlyThis device allows automatic curtain lifting incase of power outage, or actuating the manualemergency button located at an easy operatorheight. The exclusive design features of thissystem allow it to be integrated in central safetylogics, e.g. fire detection systems.

Additional set of photocellsThese can be installed at a higher level than thestandard photocell configuration.

Hard WiringFully prewired, with standard terminal block forconnections between control panel and remoteutilities (motor, photocells, commands, etc.),using electrical ducts.

Control panelCOIL door is supplied with an exclusiveelectronic control unit powered by 400Vthree-phase +N, equipped with electronic limitswitches with absolute multi-turn encoder.It also offers the possibility of expansion andconnection to external devices (fire oremergency security systems) and remotecontrol. Equipped with a large and specificdisplay for programming, diagnostics andverification of operating cycles.

Alternatively, the door can be supplied with theexclusive electronic programmer withsingle-phase INVERTER 230 V, for themanagement and customisation of the upwardand downward speeds of the mantle, theslowdown in limit switch phases during openingand closing.
