Come and study one of the most unique environments on the planet: the waters and islands of the Gulf of California. Marine Biology (Biol 125 and 126) is offered through the Baja California Field Studies Program of Glendale Community College and is taught at Glendale College and the Estación del Mar Cortés in the town of Bahía de Los Angeles. The courses are 4 units of lecture and laboratory introduction to the science of Marine Biology, and fulfill the General Education requirements in Natural Sciences for transfer to UC, CSU and USC. These classes are based on daily lectures, laboratories and field trips to the islands and coastal environments of the area.
