Currently I am the longest serving faculty member of both the UT Lecturers Group and all Departments within UT CoCA. I have Associate II Membership status in the UT Graduate Faculty. I direct the Music Technology and the Recording Arts Minor and manage all Recital and Concert performances offered by The Music Department. I have a student staff of several undergraduate and graduate students. These students have all studied with me in Music Technology and Recording Arts. My other professional activities include management of facility lab and recording spaces, the maintenance and upgrade of equipment and computer hardware and software. I represent the Music Department for annual Information Technology budgets and requested funding. Additionally, I use my recording studio for smaller UT Music Department Advanced Classes in Music Technology and Recording, Senior Interns and other CoCA related productions. A very fortunate and chance set of circumstances led me to begin working with the late radio legend Mr. Bob Martz. I became Mr. Martz’ Recording Engineer and Producer of radio spots for many advertising and marketing agencies. Networking and commitment led to studio production assignments both local and national.
