The logo and branding style was created to best reflect the highly professional services provided by it’s team of experts. It was to be unique and simple in design so to be versatile enough to work across a variety of mediums and applications, throughout a multitude of jurisdictions across several markets.

creative designThe brief for this project outlined the need to create a professional looking publication that best displayed the creative works of students within the College and comply to the organisation’s branding style so not to disassociate itself from the existing suite of communication material.
Working closely with the faculty throughout each stage of the creative development, ensured all aspects of the original brief were covered and the project was completed on deadline and within budget.
The publication was supplied in print & digital formats and distributed via post, online via the organisation’s website and through social media.

Printed litho 4 colour process throughout on to 4pp cover: 300gsm Image Perfect Offset, 40pp inset: 170gsm Image Perfect Offset, collated, saddle stitched 2 wires, trimmed and folded to 44pp, 210 x 297 (Landscape), packed and delivered.

The creative brief outlined the need for a fresh approach, to the way in which the organisation promoted its products and services, to existing and potential clients within their target market.
A suite of concept display advertisements were used within the promotional mix for a marketing campaign which initially ran for a period of 12 months, across a wide variety of print and online media. As a result of the success of the campaign the period was extended for a further 6 months.

I have been working as a studio manager
for a local advertising and design agency
for the past 7 years. Within this time I’ve
gained knowledge and experience within
all the business areas, for example; creative
design, marketing, business development,

administration and accounting and
recruitment.
I oversee all business operations and am
authorised to make executive business
decisions on behalf of the company.
The core responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
• Provide creative input and direction onadvertising and communication material and marketing campaigns.
• Set print production schedules, track and manage budgets and costs.
• Undertake marketing activities,providing practical advise on how to increase brand awareness and to promote the benefits of the products and services, through a variety of media avenues, e.g. PR, advertising, digital media, email and social media campaigns etc.

brand managementManaging a client’s brand efficiently and professionally is vital, as it helps in developing strong business relationships, builds trust and loyalty.
With this project the client required us to produce a clean, simple and durable presentation folder to be use with all high level client communications. We had to closely follow the branding guidelines and ensure the final product fitted in well with their existing range of branded products.
I was responsible for all aspects of the project, including the initial design concept, production of layout and structure, sourcing and purchasing of print, client liaisons, estimating and invoicing.
Product specifications:
Printed litho 4 colour process throughout on to 320gsm Conqueror CX22 Brilliant White, die cut and glued to shape using supplied cutter outline template with 10mm gusset, internal pocket and slots for business card, with matt lamination applied to both sides, packed and delivered.

The main aims of this project were to create a simple, professional and user friendly display website, for a proposed property development, providing important information to relevant stakeholders and the general public.
As part of the project I created a simple logo and branding style that was used across a suite of material both in print and online.

• Work closely with sales team and suppliers in organising and promoting events through various media opportunities.
• Collaborate with web design agencies on improving design, layout and capabilities of site.
• Research, edit and coordinate production of a variety of marketing collateral, including newsletters, internal communications, press releases and fact sheets, in print, online and for corporate intranets.

• Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as account manager and graphic designer.
• Continually review, update and develop company website, ensuring content meets set requirements, information is relevant, up-to-date and easily accessible.

On the right is a display poster produced to promote sports sessions offered by the local community sports development team to try and engage with children of a particular age group in an attempt to keep them off the streets, resulting in the reduction of crime and antisocial behaviour in built up areas.

Elements of traditional and digital marketing were used to promote the sessions to its target market, e.g. the distribution of printed material to local school, sporting complexes and youth clubs and the use of social media e.g. facebook and twitter.

GOSH Crystal Ball In 2005 I assisted on the GOSH Crystal Ball held
in aid of Great Ormand Street Hospital. Working
directly with the project manager I provided
design & marketing skills for the production
of event material, liaised with international
marketing & design agencies and local
organisations. The event was attended by 600
people and raised over £400,000 for charity.
An Evening with Lesley GarrettIn 2006 I was asked to join the project
management team tasked with organising a
charity fundraiser ‘An Evening with Lesley
Garrett’ in aid of The Colin Javens Spinal Injury
(Jersey) Trust. I was responsible for creating the
entire branding concept, promotional literature,
advertising and event material. Additional
duties involved liaising with media agencies
and local organisations in relation to advertising
and printed sponsorship opportunities. The
event was attended 500 people and raised over
£300,000 for charity.
An Evening with Paul LakeMore recently I was part of the project
management team responsible for hosting
‘An Evening with Paul Lake’. The event was in
aid of Autism Jersey and City in the Community
Charity, where we organised for a famous
ex-footballer, together with the Barclays
Premiership Trophy and Community Shield to
Jersey, the event also included a book signing
and Q&A. It was attended by over 100 people
and raised around £3,800 for charity.

Being very family orientated I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and children.
I have a real passion for travel and enjoy discovering new places and meeting different people.
I spent time travelling the world when I was younger and still regularly take short breaks to the
UK and europe as there are so many place I am still yet to visit.
I enjoy participating in sports e.g. running, swimming and especially team activities such as
football.
I am an avid sports fan and currently sit on the committee for a supporters club, holding the
position of design, marketing and ticketing administrator. Main duties include:
• Promoting the club to the local
community in a bid to raise profile and increase member numbers;
