After my wife June and I returned from overseas, we saw oyster farming as a good opportunity to live and work in my hometown of Coffin Bay. Eventually we were able to secure our own patch of water to begin the family business. It’s the lifestyle that has kept us in the game ever since!

We have kept our farm small enough to monitor the stock every day. Along the way we have gained a great deal of experience and knowledge of the local marine environment. To give you an idea of how isolated our growing area is - we can only see one house from our farm! We are incredibly fortunate to live in a unique, natural and unpolluted part of the word.

Being surrounded by National Park means we are constantly observing marine wildlife including dolphins, seals and penguins. Even shed work is often livened up by visiting emus, kangaroos and the odd goanna!
