Davis Community Transit In coordination with Unitrans and Yolobus, DCT

continues to follow the COVID-19

County Transportation Guidelines.

DCT’s daily service is slowly picking

up, however our service continues

to practice physical distancing provisions to keep

customers and staff safe. Rides continue to be

scheduled 30 minutes apart to minimize the

number of customers on a bus (no more than three

customers on the bus at a time). All customers and

staff are required to wear a facial covering as the

county mandates. Effective September 30, DCT will

Free Radio Theatre

Bike City Theatre Company (BCTC) is a non-profit based in Davis bringing theatrical works to you! BCTC transitioned to radio theatre a few months ago, bringing a new twist to a classic art form with Radio Tuesdays, a series of free original plays. The plays range from mystery to comedy and everything in between. They’re

completely free and, while they are not broadcast on the radio they are accessible online. Their latest play is Andy Pitchem, a play about a man with a heart of gold and voice to match! He’s a walking infomercial, and his office has just about had enough. To hear these programs visit bikecitytheatre.org/radio-Tuesday.

Beware of Scammers Contact tracing is critical to mitigating the spread of COVID-19, but beware of fraudsters claiming to be contact tracers. Here’s how to spot and avoid phony contact tracers.

Real contact tracers won’t ask you for money.

Only scammers insist on payment by gift card, money transfer, or cryptocurrency.

Contact tracing doesn’t require your bank account or credit card number. Never share account information with anybody who contacts you and asks for it.

Legitimate contact tracers will never ask for your Social Security number. Never give any part of your Social Security number to anyone who contacts you.

Your immigration status doesn’t matter for contact tracing, so real tracers won’t ask.

Do not click on a link in a text or email. Doing so can download malware onto your device.

Be wary of suspicious emails, phone calls, and text messages. Contact your local health department (Yolo County Health 530-666-8645) to verify that the call or messages are valid, think before clicking on any links and be aware of suspicious attachments. For additional information visit covid19.ca.gov/contact-tracing/.
